coughing when heater is on

Sometimes I feel somewhat cold, so I put on a sweater, hat, and turn on the heater. Sometimes I feel lethargic, but not so extreme to the point that I want to sleep. I did not experience any fevers or swelling of any part of my body. I do not see any rashes on any part of my body, nor do I sweat uncontrollably. I am currently 16 and I do not want my parents to know that I had intercourse. For this reason, money is somewhat hard to come by for an HIV test.

Heater began coughing about 10 days ago. She was diagnosed with a throat infection & given 500mg Novolexin for 10 days. She vomited all week, thinking the antibiotics were too strong for her I discontinued them after 8 days. Yesterday her vomit included blood clots. I took her back to the vet, detecting enlarged lymph nodes under her jaw and inside her back leg with signs of anemia, increased breathing, & the blood clots in her vomit. He suspects lymphosarcoma.

Treating all tap water before or whilst water is in the aquarium by adding aprox 5ml of aquasafe to every 10 litres (aprox 2 gallons) stir well to ensure that the aquasafe is evenly mixted. Also beneficial for using when adding new fish/turtles and when treating sick fish/turtles. Please use this.. and the UV light and heater and everything. PLEASE. Trust me you WILL notice the difference, my turtles didnt have a UV light for a week because the bulb blew and one of them got really sick...

I was just diagnosed with asthma at the age of 24. It does mean a bit of a lifestyle change, more cleaning, mite cover of bed extra nice filter in heater/ac...HEPA vacume. But once you get it in control it isn't all that bad. It will continue to surprise you at the most inopprotune times though. IE my asthma attack in church on christmas eve! It didn't resolve on its own so I had to go on steroids over the holidays!! But stay positive and know patience is key and a good doctor!

(Sometimes it seems that she is doing it on purpose, but mostly she does it when she is doing something else like watching tv or reading books, or otherwise concentrating on something else.) There are absolutely no other symptoms. It is a very shallow cough, it seems to be from her throat, not her lungs, but her throat looks fine. He spent yesterday (and is currently) laying by the heater. He is not coughing nearly as much today, I have only heard him once. He is eating, drinking, and playing like normal. He does seem to be breathing harder than normal, though it does not appear as if he is struggling or gasping for air. The other cats are fine, and not acting any different. His symptoms came on extremely fast. Any suggestions?

Also if your home is very dry due to running heater (this is the case where I live) dry heat can cause nose bleeds. Go to doctor get you some meds a cold does not last 4 weeks you probably have a sinus infection or even pneumonia both of which require antibotics.

So badly. I never sleep w out a blanket on, nd now i sleep w no blanket nd fan on high. Doesnt help when hubby is a heater lol.

So it's cold and we decided to put the heater On, I don't know why It felt like I was suffocating. The heater has this certain smoke smell which fill the house and I don't feel like am breathing air... should I be concerned about my little boy? 32 weeks prego.

Don't feel alone abt 2 years ago I was the same way id say 2012. When it would rain or be cloudy I would be so depressed and just blah and it isn't a good feeling. Have you always been this way? I'm happy I'm at the point again that I can except the rain and ugly days some time it's fun maybe turn on the fire place or heater and get some nice warm hot tea or hot chocolate and watch a nice movie.

I cough in the winter months. Same reason/descrtiption as you. I find that the week the windows are closed and the heater is turned on..."it starts." I think it's the CARPETS. Yes, the carpeting. That stuff can release stuff that sensitive people can't handle....so, they cough.

When I told my BF he just laughed at me. I told him wait till I'm sitting on his couch and it happens.

The heater is like base board I think my mom calls it. Like the ones that stick out of the wall along the floor.

But the heaters being turned on without us touching it the night he said he wanted to turn the heater on later on when its time and then it just happened to be on without us doing it..lol. One of my sisters would argue with a little boy at my moms when she was little and it weird my mom out and then something on the wall we couldn't see scared the heck out of her she was a few months old when that part happened. My other sister would see things too.

Tonight is my seventh shot so I've been at it for 6 weeks. About 3 weeks ago I started coughing. Now I can't even breathe without the tickle sensation causing me to cough or almost cough. I try REALLY hard to suppress it. Two days ago I coughed so hard it tore a muscle in my rib cage (or whatever, I haven't had it looked at. See the Doc tomorrow). It feels about as bad as when I broke some ribs some years ago. Now coughing is a killer.

at first i thought it was the heater so we would turn them off but it even happens when the house is at 50 degrees. everyone else will be cold and i will be sweating. it doesnt happen all day long but its as if i am having hot flashes. its always a possibility due to my hysterectomy but i am hoping its not as i am only 37. a year or 2 ago i was having what we thought was hot/cold flashes but the dr determined it was a side effect from medication.

I also noticed that as soon as we turned our gas heater on in November I started to wheeze like I never have before. We are now using electric heat and I am actually improving. Before taking pharmaceuticals, take control of your own life first by trying to find out what is triggering the wheezing. Pharmaceuticals can be life saving, but not on a long term basis. If, as in my case it is gas heat, eliminate it.

I have had chronic and persistent catarrh for many years but a year ago, following a nasty cold involving much harsh coughing, I developed also a persistent tickle in the throat and the coughing continued relentlessly. The cataarh is tolerable but the coughing is killing me by slow degrees. Can you or anyone help?

Does this sound like anything you have ever heard of and is it at all possible that the allergy I had to the folic acid somehow compromised my lungs and is to blame for my coughing now? As a side note, my daughter is a happy healthy 22 month old now.

Where I'm from its against the law for the gas company to cut off the heat during the winter..
