It feels like all of my air passages become blocked with mucus and I have trouble breathing. Sometimes the coughing is so severe I end up vomiting or I often gag almost to the point of vomiting (It's very exhausting.) It doesn't seem to matter what I eat, and it happens pretty much after every meal.
on a morning when i wake up i always need to cough and clear my throat since about a year ago. but now it has extended to needing to do it throughout the day. sometime the mucus that comes up is small hard sticky lumps that nearly make me be sick as they get stuck in my throat. or some times theres a lot of yellow and white flem. its never clear. I'm wondering wat the cause of this is as i can constantly feel it there at back of my throat like a coating.
At it worst, it causes quite bad pain, and I can feel bile coming back up along with food, but it is not acidic.
I would appreciate any advice...I haven't seen a doctor about it.
Tuesday morning around 3am she started coughing and woke up, I layed her back down and she ended up throwing up. We clean everything up and lay her down and 30 minutes later she does it again without coughing. We clean up again and 10 minutes later she starts whining and throws up again, by this time she doesn't have anything else to throw up. And on the weekends i smoke even more. I have been spitting up pieces of sometimes, white chunks, othertimes huge mucus "loogeys" thats are very dark yellow, almost orange or even rusty coloured. I have probably been spitting like this for about a year, more or less. Im underage and the fact that my mucus is already this bad, scares me since, i dont know what it really means. Does all that mucus/pieces, get expelled from my lungs? ive been smoking for almost 4 years.

I went to the ER several times and finally wound up at an ENT office. I tried to explain the symptoms as food going up my nose when I ate, because to me that's how it felt. The ENT thought I was crazy. I went for a barium swallow which showed nothing unusual. I also have trouble swallowing my birth control pills (which I have to take daily) and they are just tiny things. They too feel like they are going up my nose and staying there. Sometimes it takes hours to get it down.
It hurts. Break up your pills into small chunks.
At 5 weeks, I am back in the gym, riding stationary bikes for 30-45 minutes and doing lower body and some ab work. I'm finally off my Percocet and Loritab and have weaned myself from Ambien. Sleeping is presently on and off as my system adjusts to less meds (i still take 3000mg of Tylenol a day).
Oh, In case your surgeon doesn't mention it, stay away from NSAIDs (advil) as they affect the fusion process...
I went to pour out the container I had used to expel the solution from my nose, there were BIG SOLID chunks of white stuff in it. It resembled pieces of crumbled ricotta cheese. I had never seen anything like it. There were a whole bunch of these things...as if I had chewed up ricotta and spit it into the container!! I did it a few more of these. I didn't get any more ricotta cheese (maybe one little piece that you could barely see) and decided that it was time to go to sleep.
You can't concentrate on anything but waiting to throw up. Since then, the intolerance kept creeping up, so that now when I even take a sip of alcohol, I will wake up in the middle of the night feeling queasy. I have tried both beer and some liquors. I have not tried wine, and my husband wanted to do an experiment and have me drink an O'douls to see what that would do to me, but frankly, it is so miserable afterwards that I didn't even want to risk it to see if that'd work.
Being a single mom of 2 who also works full time, this is definitely not what I signed up for! I have some of the rx left and have given serious thought to taking one and just asking my doc to start me on a small dose of something else that's not as hard to come off of. From what I've read on here a lot of people have had decreased to no withdrawal symptoms if they were able to take a second med at the same time they were coming off of Effexor.
I do notice it more at rest than I do when I'm up and around, although it did it on the treadmill at the gym yesterday. I also notice it when I am eating?? It is REALLY frustrating and can be embarassing to be gasping for a deep breath when you are out and about with friends or whatever. I do not believe that it is all related to stress. I am a school teacher, and have not worked since May 31, so my stress level is lower now than it ever is. Does anyone have any answers here?

He got home at around six pm, and was going to get ready to go to church that night. As he got out of the car and was walking to the house, his liver gave out. He started coughing up blood.
My aunt, uncle and cousins decided he would be better off at the hospital so they called the ambulance. By the time the ambulance got him to the hospital, this man had turned the color of a banana. I am not just talking his eyes, he was yellow from head to toe, even his tongue was yellow.
After using the inhaler I always end up coughing up fluid and my breathing sounds gurgle-ly (so I don't take them any more unless I feel I really need to...note that I have never had a full blown asthma attack). I'm worried that it could be something else (was exposed to TB as a teenager, but took the "horse pills" for 6 months and was told I was fine), but none of my doctors will really listen to me.
couldn't sleep because of the tingling. I basically only sleep when exhausted. The tingling started to act up more again; possibly because I might have overdone it yesterday. Anyone have suggestions how to sleep???

Up to 6 months ago I felt like a bug was crawling on me when I sat on my couch and bed (different apartment), our first assumption was bed bugs and we treated the house (using bombs) for these, the crawling feeling slowed but never fully stopped.
We recently moved (2 months ago) and I felt the same thing on the couch and bed, even worse actually. So much so that we had to throw the couch out.

(You know the old saying, someone had to graduate at the bottom of their medical school) I fell for his sales pitch in him telling me everything I wanted to hear.
It seems to be getting more frequent that I have fissures or cracks in the perineum area. I had always used witch hazel to heal up the fissures but that doesn't seem to work any more, in fact I'm wondering if I'm making the problem worse. I've been doing some research online and see that Drs. prescribe topical corticosteroid ointment, also read about trying lanolin cream or hydrogenated vegetable oil, thought I'd give that a shot.
