I have another questions I have been doing alot of coughing been coughing up alot of plehm but for the past half hour I have been coughing up blood not a smear of blood but a half dollar size amount of blood each time should I worry about this.

They did manage to bring her back and no sooner did they kick us out of there! The doctor sure had a scared look on his face too. Lately she has been coughing up blood and her hand gets to tingling from time to time. She also gets short of breath pretty often. Without any insurance, where do we turn from here? Are there any places that do body scans at reasonable prices as we are not made of money.

This is why when I switched neurologists I went and picked up my records from them. I told them I like to keep all my medical records together when I travel in case I need them, which I do. The problem may be release forms. With HIPPA you have to sign to have records sent from one doctor to another. Some of my doctors will take a verbal request others have to have everything in writing.

He is on numerous medications which includes spriva, lasix, flomax, dilantin(for seizures), MSIR, Mscontin, Restoril, Theophlline, rotating antibiotics, nebulizer treatments, valium, and cymbalta. He has starting coughing up quite a bit of blood. His lung dr. told him to take his antibiotics. his nurse told me today that he might need Hospice. No one has told us anything. his lungs sound crappy(thats the extent of what the drs. tell us).

Then request a copy of his medical records from his latest check-up. Go over them with him. When you talk with him do so when you are alone and nobody else is in the house. You are probably correct in assuming he is "fibbing" about his actual condition. He probably doesn't want to worry anyone. Men can be very stoic. Okay so it started almost half a week ago I'd say.. I wasn't feeling sick at all, but for some reason I just started coughing up a lot of phlegm.. clearish to yellow colored. I had an endoscopy this morning and I woke up from the anesthesia coughing badly. I was practically choking and it hurt when I coughed. It felt like I had water in my lungs.
