t prescribe anything cough medicine for infants that young. All she have him was saline drops -_- yea I thought it was stupid too. So I'm asking you lovely mommies, anything you do/done for your little ones that helped!? I just hate hearing him cough like a 40yr old man.

Already moms.. Does anybody know any gas remedies for infants other than moving their legs around. Has anyone tried gas drops ?. My 5week older has been screaming her head off, she's gassy .

When an adult gets it the cough sounds like a whoop sound and for children especially infants its deadly practically for infants they get a fever can't breathe coughing something like ammonia but way worse

I have a wellness pack with differentn things in it, It says children on it but is for babies also and the dosage for infants is on the bottle. Herny got a runny nose not sure if it was teeth or cold starting but it was gone in two days and never got worse. I love Wish Garden stuff! All natural and ot works fast without taking them around other sick kids at the dr. OH and you need a humidifier mroe then a vaporisor. They are cool mist and do not casue mold as easy.

Increase fluid intake, use a humidifier, try a saline nasal rinse (I love these), and extra vitamin c. If you have a fever or trouble breathing you need to go to the hospital. Decreased oxygen for you means decreased oxygen for baby. Fever for you means higher body temp which is also dangerous for baby. I'm all for natural remedies but you need to weigh the pros and cons.

Hey ladies, other than baby vicks (put it on a sock in her bassinet instead of on her) and a humidifier, what's good for coughing? Aubryana's only 8 weeks old, I took her to the dr Mon or Tues and she said that she just has a virus...she seems to me like it's an upper respiratory infection, she's sneezing a lot, coughing, and stuffy. My doctor gave me a list of remedies for illness. Mucinex was an approved medication for colds and such, just not the max strength one. It has been my savoir the last three days, I have a serious cold. Good luck they also have me non medication type remedies, might be worth checking out.
