runny nose then tylenol for the fever/sweats but i wanted to know if there were any home remedies that you mamas used to help your babies feel better?

Does any one know anything we can take to supress coughing cuz its getting to the point my tummy is hurting from coughing so bad and I dont wanna hurt my baby :/

i have had this cough for 2 months now and i would like to no that same question^^^^,when i cough it makes me vomit,and green and yellow flem comes out of my mouth i have been to the doctors and they have said its only hay fever or u have a lot of mucus , so they give me some tablets and the cough as not gone, i would like to what it could be and what could get rid of this cough i am really starting to worry now please some one right back

My nova scotia duck tolling retriever has been coughing on and off for years. Sometimes it brings up phlegm; other times not. We know she has allergies to ragweed, grass, weeds, flaxseed. Her food contains nothing that she's allergic to. I understand that her allergies may act up in the summer, but her coughing is year-round (we live where we have winter from Nov.-Mar. so the grasses are dead part of the year).

Okay so it started almost half a week ago I'd say.. I wasn't feeling sick at all, but for some reason I just started coughing up a lot of phlegm.. clearish to yellow colored. I don't smoke cigarettes, only on the occassional weekend. I do smoke pot. Anyways I thought the phelgm coughing up mighta been caused by some resin I was smoking, but they said that was black phlegm, not clearish yellow... So a few days pass of coughing up phlegm, and now I'm sitting here.. irritated...

You could always go to a health food store and they will be able to direct you as to what is safe during pregnancy and give you natural remedies as well. Oh, and you will not hurt the baby by coughing. He/she is tucked away in a very safe place. =) Hope you feel better soon!!!

I have been taking OTC medication (my Obstet. and Pharmacist said it's safe) to dissolve the mucus in my air passages but it doesn't reduce the coughing. There are these things called preggie pops they sell them at babies r us they are all natural suckers or you come in hard candies that really help with nausea! They seriously saved my life I was so sick, they're only like 2 dollars for a pack of them, I recommend the hard candies over the suckers cause they have better flavors.
