Oh wow. have you been formally diagnosed with OCD and if so, have you had any treatment whatsoever?

she panicked and said that he may have transmitted her some germs from where he touched (public transport etc.. ) and she put iodine solution !!! i laughed and said she was over the top with this but she has OCD so maybe that's why she overrecacted. question is who is right ? me or her ? just to reassure her. please reply as she is making herself ill with worry.

Remember that coughing is a way to move mucous out. I do understand, though, as coughing is abrasive to the system and that becomes irritated and people then end up coughing for awhile due to just that. So, maybe just use the cough medicine at night. Allergies often have 'itchiness' to them. Itchy eyes, back of throat. And over the counter allergy medicine works pretty fast. You could try and see if it makes any difference but I really think you basically have a cold.

I probably wouldn't have sent him home if he wasn't wiping his snot on his hand and coughing without covering his mouth. I only sent him home an hour early.....lol. maybe im just being a freak. My mom was the same way. I blame her!

Ive had a sore throat for about 2 days and the doctor told me to take robitussin dm with no dye or sugar. It's really not helping and i have headaches from coughing. My nose isn't congested nor have i had a fever. Anybody else know of anything stronger we can take I'm at 26 weeks.

I would take her to her physician as soon as you are able, it is certainly not healthy for her to keep coughing and vomiting. The coughing will hurt her insides if it is too strong and vomiting will prevent her from getting her much needed nutrients from food, etc. I really am not able to tell you what it is, it could be a number of things, and, as I said, it would be best if she saw a doctor. Please let me know the outcome, I know she must be miserable.

my daughter was a typical outgoing, fun loving little girl. she attends pre-k full time at a private school. this year there were more boys than girls in her class... and her "best friend" went on to a different class. not only was she withdrawn during the day, but became increasingly anxious and unhappy about going to school. she has a coughing-cold and suddendly became incredibly scared that she'd infect others with her "germs".

t bother me then, but back home I started to overthink it and then I really freaked out. She walked on her socks on the floor and possibly picked up some dirt on the floor. I had been getting really bad GERD symptom- coughing, wheezing, hotness of mouth but time of proper sleeping- not lying down before hand generally. I also have had powerful sneezing particularly at night but not just then also morning sometimes. I realised I had been drinking expired off milk- I noticed some off taste but because I was eating it with cocoa- I did realise the milk was- 4 days past used-by date.

That candida, fungus, germs and all that nonsense is all BS. All the evidence is pointing the other direction. What's causing PATM is likely plain toxins from normal gut microbial but ends up in so much amount in our blood stream. How it got there, I can think of two ways. We have some defective gut and liver enzymes that can’t detoxify these normal toxins, that also exist in other people, but end up being absorbed.

I will add Vitamine D to Shannon's list above. I have noticed that in the summer, my 6 year old is healthy as a horse. Of course it's when she's out in the sunshine and in the pool (Vit D and chlorine to wash off those germs) and away from the other million kids at school who are constantly ill. However... She recently (a couple of months ago) got pretty sick. I took her into the doctor to check out the never-ending cough.

I too have been having coughing attacks where I cough until I vomit. I am on acid reflux meds and nasal spray to help postnasal drip. This has been going on for about 2 months. I had this before about 3 years ago. The dr. tells me there is nothing they can do about it. It's really bad in the fact I can't go anywhere without having facial tissue and a sack or something to vomit in, cause I never know when I'll have an attack.

I've been coughing, blowing my nose, or trying to, no appetite, sore throat and swollen glands..Well I couldn't sleep at all last night and I swear I felt the baby kicking or punching me like he/she was MAD. It wasn't fluttering like some describe, but instead was like pangs on my right side, literally felt like punches. Glad you agree! It bugs me that parents with sick kids take them out to begin with when they should be at home resting, and the fact that they take them to places where otherwise healthy children are running around catching all their germs...it makes me so mad! I know parents do pox parties so their kids will catch it and be done with it, BUT there's no need to take your snot nosed, coughing, sneezing kid out in public unless necessary knowing you're exposing so many others.

4 months into the relationship I become very sick with flu like symptoms (but no coughing, sore throat or nasal discharge). My lymph nodes in my neck become very swollen and my cheeks, gums, entire mouth and tongue started to burn with pain and had what appears to be tiny blisters. This lasted for about 2 weeks with on and off again chills. Looking on the internet the symptoms appear to be that of a primary HSV1 infections. How can this be as I already get cold sores on my upper lip??
