coughing nausea sore throat

m not sure what it is. I have a slightly red, irritated throat (no pain, however), dry coughing, swollen lymph nodes (not painful either), inflamed nostrils (cannot blow out anything), and very mild ear aches. This has been going on for the past 6 or 7 days. What is it? Strep? I'm taking antibiotics, but my current one is causing me nausea. Please, help!

That lasted about a week, as soon as those symptoms started to fade away I got a sore throat, but only on my right side. That was 2 weeks ago and I still have the sore throat. What gives? Again, all other symptoms are gone except for the sore throat. What could this be?

I started having a sore throat about a week plus one day ago. It wasn't all that bad, just sore to swallow. I went home for the weekend hoping that my parents care would heal me up over the weekend, but we tried multiple things and the sore throat wouldn't go away. It only kept getting worse.

I have had a sore throat now for about a week. The sore throat comes on about 8:00 p.m. It is very sore and makes it hard to swallow. It keeps me up most of the night. I finally get out of bed around 5 ish, drink a cup of hot coffee and within about an hour my sore throat is gone until around 8:00 at night again. Also in the morning then I am very hot and sweaty. Any suggestions.

When I had a sore throat I took halls. They helped a lot. And the doctor told me it was ok to take it.

Ive had a sore throat for about 2 days and the doctor told me to take robitussin dm with no dye or sugar. It's really not helping and i have headaches from coughing. My nose isn't congested nor have i had a fever. Anybody else know of anything stronger we can take I'm at 26 weeks.

hi, 5 days ago i came down with a sore throat that turned into the flu the next day. my fever never went above 100 degrees and most symptoms are already gone. my throat has still been very sore and sinuses have been draining down my throat but with the help of cough drops i haven't been coughing a whole bunch. today i noticed a bloody spot on the tissue where my tonsils used to be. it looks like a small open sore. should i be concerned about this and what can i do to help treat it?

I have a cold, and I've had it for about 6 days now. Is it normal for the top of your mouth to be sore if you cough a lot? Also, is it normal to have slight crackling noises in your throat after coughing? I'm only fourteen years old, and I don't smoke or drink or anything.

Fixed some Candy Cane sugar free, caffiene free green tea and drank it warm which seem to sooth it alot to the point where I stopped coughing. Throat is still sore, but feel better. Almost sure its just a sx.

So, I have had a sore throat for a week now. It started with a tickling throat and then developed, so I find it very hard to swallow because it really hurts, and also have trouble talking. After evaluation they decided on a viral infection and sent me home with ibuprofen, Motrin and nausea medication. The next day I woke up even worse.

My allergies got ao bad around Christmas I had to go to er because I have been coughing and sneezing for ao long my throat was sore for over a month I got pressure in my left ear and my glands in throat were swollen from coughing day and night.

Just over a month ago I got a series of sore throats, they’d get better then another would start after a couple of days. Whether or not I got a sore throat seemed to depend on if I lay flat on my back. I started to prop myself up and the sore throats stopped, but the cough is still there. The cough sounds like a bark when I sit up, but when I sit back in a chair or lay down, now the cough sounds like a chest infection, this chest/throat infection sound stops if I sit up.
