She too suggested what REB 51 said ,perhaps it is cough variant asthmas, this kind of asthma has no weezing just coughins and can lasts for months. I sound like a seal, my throat is sore and my voice goes out. I have to take 40 MG of prednisone for a few weeks, an albuterol inhaler too. She said the inflammation has to go down in the lungs to get better first. also one has to try to figure out what triggered the attack to begin with,Mine was most likely allergies.
Actually I cant even figure out if it is on my tongue or my throat, but when I swallow I feel like a husk is stuck somewhere behind there. It gives me this really irritating feeling. There is no pain or any swelling, just a lot and lot of irritation.
Anyone been through this? How do I get this cleared? It is soooo darn irritating.
I had an Angiogram done on March 30th, there was an Angio-seal used, and I was given a card to carry with me for the next 90 days. I had an angiogram done in 2005, which was done the old way, lay for 5 hours after and never looked back. Never needed a painkiller or anything. This time, I can't walk without pain and am in alomost constant pain today from above the site of entry, with a very warm sensation around the site, but to look at the wound, all looks just the same as before.

Well today I feel so much worse than I did on Monday. I am having coughing fits to where I almost pass out, still super dizzy (even when not coughing) and my throat is even more sore and I hardly can talk (kids are enjoying that part lol) I think I have bronchitis. So glad I go see my primary doctor tomorrow. Are any of you ladies experiencing this?
My 7yo son got sick and had lingering cough for about 3 weeks. I took him to see a doctor after one night he was coughing too hard and long that he almost ran out of breath. The doctor gave him Albuterol to open up his air passage. He took the medication every night before bed for about a week, until he came to me one night very worried about his heart beating fast (Albuterol side effects). I stopped the medication since then.
Now, I'm noticing my son exhaling like a puppy-dog.

And you would know the difference between hearing a cough or sneeze, as a cough sounds loud and scary like a seal barking. If kitty is coughing along with the sneezing and the eye issues, that is a very bad sign, and he really should be seen.
Talk to your Vet about starting kitty on Lysine, an Amino Acid that will help build up kitty's immune system against the herpes and future URI's.

2 weeks ago I got sick, about one week ago I started waking up coughing, then gasping for air. It makes this terrible whooping noise and it takes me about 30-60 seconds to get a full breath of air, then it slowly goes away. I went to the doctor and they said no pneumonia, i have perfect breathing, my lungs are clear, my throat is clear, they did a chest x-ray. They think it might be bronchitis, but they're not sure. The breathing attacks keep getting worse.
ive been on hep C treatment, 1 big pill a day, for 28 days so far. I am coughing up a lot of mucus, it looks like intense healthy mucus, mostly in 2 different shapes. a flat rectangle and the crescent moon. I put a few drops of iodine w/ a little water and the crescent shape separated into 3 small oblong shapes. the rectangle one, when put up to the light, had multiple shapes in it. one shape was similar to a 'h', and the others small crescent shapes.
I experience several bouts of heavy coughing that can last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes while coughing up mostly clear phlegm with some of it a sea green color and at other times tinged pink - though this is rare. One out of ten coughing fits ends with me vomiting .... I guess it would be best described as a clear foamy form of phlegm. I ended up going to a cvs care clinic once the coughing hit and she said robittussein dm for the coughing, tylenol for the headache and benadryl if i felt stuffy and sleep. It helped until the cough got bad and then she prescribed me tesalon perles? She was pregnant and said she has used them to help with the coughing too.
Coughing is actually a healthy thing, as it helps to clear the lungs. Without coughing, the lungs would fill up with mucous and that is more dangerous as it blocks the airways and sets up the lungs for secondary infections. For most asthmatics night time is when it tends to flare up more. That is why he is coughing more at night. It will take a few days for the steroid to kick in. Just keep up with his treatments and keep an eye on his symptoms. Especially for sever shortness of breath.
I am a 42 year old male. I went to a dance club about 5 months ago and danced with a woman. While we were dancing, I started licking and kissing her neck, sort of like giving her a hickey, but not as hard. When I got back home, I noticed that I had a blood blister on the inside of my lip. It was also raw. I might have bitten my lip and not noticed. There was no blood coming from my mouth.
it looks like their coughing and gagging, and it sounds kind of like a seal or a goose. I have taken them so many times to the vet so they can witness it, and of course, they wouldn't. But finally we were in for something else, and one of them did it, he said that pugs especially get these when they get excited, and that they aren't really dangerous, just to calm them down and keep an eye on them. I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I do know how frustrating it is!

The link is a great picture showing the difference between the two, thank you. They have referred me to see a surgeon but not until after the PH study is done. She didn't say if the surgeon was a throat Dr. or GI. I just hope they get the ball rolling soon this coughing is driving me nuts. My chest feels like I've been hit by a freight train.
