I've had the same thing! I'm twelve weeks and I'm not sick at all, I just have a random cough. I was worried it was dangerous for the baby, but any research I've done says the baby is fine. I don't understand the cough, but as long as baby is alright, I guess I'll just put up with it and ask about it at my next ob appt. Baby will be fine, try a humidifier with some vicks on it for the congestion, and make sure you check with your doctor before you take any medicines.

So for the past couple of days I have had a cough and I have been coughing so much and so hard that my stomach hurts annd my chest....I tried taking tylenol and that didn't help ... I tried taking mucinex and that just made it worse.... I tried taking robitussin dm cough and congestion (pill) and that didn't help either. Okay so for the past week now I have had this really nasty cough.
