A couple of days ago, I contract something outside and the next day, I began having serious chills, stuffy nose, chest feeling stuffy, etc. Then the next day, it got worse (and yes, I took medicine for flu/cold) with coughing up (I'm presuming) some bloody mucus several times (it's more like a rust color), dry coughing mostly, severe chest congestion (Robatusson {sp?} doesn't work), and severe congestion in my nose.
Iv never seen that much discharge my hole pregnancy also the way it look was like white jelly in my vagina. Could this mean my mucus plug is braking. Or early labor.
I also just had a nose bleed.
On and off, right side of my nose would bleed, but not bleeding like dropping out, instead it was bloody mucus inside the nostril. Ocassionaly i would cough up some blood, normally just a tiny red spot. I went to the hospital a month ago, done a chest x ray again, it came clear, done colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and upper endoscopy which said my membrane is vulnerable with spotty bleeding at touch, but it didnt explain blood in mucus. So after that i went to a Sinus and nasopharynx MSCT scan.
The other morning i coughed and saw a piece of bloody mucus. It was a small amount and my nose was bleeding mildly also. I feel like this has happened to me in the past but now that I'm getting older I'm worrying more about stuff. My daughter said that has happened to her a few times too. Anyone relate? Lived with a father who smoked, and he himself seemed to have the same problem. Coughing up phlegm, tons of mucus. My mother had to wash so many handkerchiefs. We lived on a farm back then, and now I live on a farm as well, and have a husband who also smokes. It seems after I finish eating I often have lots of clear mucus that needs to get out. I can feel like it all situated in my nasal cavity, plus it needs to leave my throat as well. It doesn't matter what I eat or drink.
Then beginning on the Sunday (April 15) I started to have minor sore throat. Then Monday (sore throat with like Sinus infection and mucus from both mouth and nose) and some body aches. Tuesday, dry coughing and a little bit of chill. Tuesday night, I had a bowel movement like diaherra during the night (2 times). On Wed morning, I had a bloody stool. Then I went to the urgent care and the doc looked at me and the stool. The doctor said I was ok.
I'm 37w3d & throughout my entire pregnancy I have had a cough & problems with my nose being stuffy & mucus in my throat. It's a dry cough, but sometimes I cough so much it makes me sick. It's gotten worse in my last trimester, & I know it's normal to an extent, but is it normal for it to be happening every day? Anyone else have these problems?

green and yellow flem should not be coming up from allergy unless it is stomach acid. Usually allergy is clear mucus. I'm not a doctor but I wonder if it is a bacteria infection. Sorry I don't know the correct answer. Maybe the doctors are correct too. I just personally haven't heard of colored mucus from allergy. Allergy can cause mucus that can lead to bacteria infection too. See another doctor.

About 10 months ago, I woke up in the middle of the night because my chest was rattling, like it was full of mucus. I bent over the sink to cough it up, and it was pure, fresh blood. I was pregnant at the time, so I immediately went to the ER. They performed a chest X-Ray, blood, work and a CT scan. They ended up just telling me that it was a fluke thing, and maybe I had a bloody nose that drained into my chest, since I was laying down.
Yesterday i had a membrane sweep and then at about 11 this morning i had my bloody show. Since then i have been losing nonstop bloody mucus or sometimes only pink tinted mucus along with excessive discharge (my cootchie feels like a slip and slide everytime i wipe). Is this normal? Should the bloody mucus be continuing to come out for hours?!
I have been using the neti pot to try to clear my sinuses, but the mucus is mostly clear(with small amounts of green and bloody mucus), and the blockage doesn't get better(neither does the bad smell). I saw an ENT doctor and he said my sinuses looked fine, and a CT scan showed nothing. I'm at my wits end (and am partly convinced it's some sort of fungal ball), is there anything you can think of, or could you tell me what I should ask the ENT to look for when I go back?? Thanks.
Is there a difference between your "bloody show" and when you lose your mucus plug?

Mucus plug is same thing as bloody show, but bloody show better indicator of labor. Though they are the same, bloody show comes off your cervix (that's where the blood comes from) and mucus plug from lower. So yes quite possible if just the plug it will regrow. No real indicator of labor. Once bloody show comes out that's a better sign labor is near.
The reason I was being persistent at coughing up mucus was because I felt like there was a bit of mucus in the back of my throat that was being stubborn. I could feel it hanging there and it was on the left side. I tried coughing up mucus as hard as I could even to the point where my gag reflex was making me nearly throw up. Then suddenly the mysterious red glob came flying out projectile style and I caught it on my hand.
FTM here, and last night around 130am I had bloody show/mucus plug. Whatever you want to call it lol. It was a brown discharge on the tissue paper, with brown mucus looking snot (TMI I know, sorry lol). I read that when this happens you could go into labor within hours to a few days. How long after this happened did you ladies actually go into labor?
