Through process of elimination I realized I started a blood pressure medication the generic for Zestril. I cut the dosage back and it got better then I stopped it and the coughing & vomiting stopped. I would take her to her physician as soon as you are able, it is certainly not healthy for her to keep coughing and vomiting. For years my husband has been getting up in the morning and vomiting profusely but the only thing that comes up is clear, white or somtimes yellowish liquid. My cat was coughing and breathing heavy. I took her to the Vet and after they took X-Ray I was told she has to be under medication for two weeks.
