Avatar f tn In 2007, I had 7 deaths within an 8 month period, including my mother who died in my arms and my brother loss his first baby 2 weeks before Christmas. I loss my job and my beloved doggie boy Toby died of a heart attack. Death brought me and my entire family to our knees, but God gave me the strength to be a survivor. 424839 tn?1268186246 If you hope for a peaceful death as the final summation of your life, live each and every day with vitality, never failing to take everything that happens as an opportunity to open and expand your inner life, exerting yourself to the fullest in the place you find yourself now.. If you lose today, win tomorrow. In this never-ending spirit of challenge is found the heart of a victor.. Being halfhearted is such a waste.
Avatar f tn My personality is such that I always have to be in conflict. Whether its with somebody else or with myself... and he went on to say that when hes in conflict with himself...hes making changes....something like that. I know I didn't do it justice right now but I tried. :( Wish I had wrote it down. Hes in recovery and is working the steps and has been publicly making amends with people he's hurt though his addiction.

It enables us to see death not as some terrifying unknown but as a normal phase of existence that alternates with life in an eternal cycle. Second, it teaches us to treasure the life we are now living and to try to make it as worthwhile as possible.

Avatar m tn I am very sorry for your loss. The answer is that he died because his particular liver could not take it. It really doesn't matter if other people drink heavily all their lives and don't die early, I am so sorry but his own particular liver was not built for what happened to it. Either this was caused by (it certainly was not helped by), the fact that he was a heavy drinker; maybe he also had some congenital weakness of the liver that made it more susceptible to problems.
Avatar n tn my boyfriend and i, although we havent been together very long, are incredibly close, and recently i've been noticing certain signs and symptoms which i know are associated with diabetes. i told him i was concerned and he has made an appointment to see a doctor about these concerns.
Avatar f tn I just had a miscarriage on 7-1-08, and yes I am having a difficult time coping with the miscarriage. I find myself on this computer day and night reading, researching, about every possible explanation for a diagnosis of no fetal pole, no heartbeat, I just don't understand. I myself am feeling very guilty I had drank a cup of chamomile tea.
Avatar f tn 6 days later on 27th Feb she passed away. I have found it really hard coping with the fact that I couldn't be with her before she went, and mothers day was 2 weeks later and really hard. She and dad had been married for 60 years, we had a lovely |Diamond celebration for them last year. She died 2 weeks before their 61st. After a lot of initial crying, I don't seem to be able to cry properly, I always reign it in.
Avatar m tn I wake up with panic attacks. I get really scared. I think about death. I feel extreme loneliness, Can't think clear. Don't know what to do.
Avatar m tn One thing that has really helped me is just being aware that every single person who has ever lived has dealt with death and loss. Throughout all of time. It might be a sad way to look at it, but it's the truth and nice to remember that you're not alone in your suffering. When something bad happens in my life, I always remind myself.. "Worse things have happened to better people". I seem to say that a lot these days.
432623 tn?1485324477 a weird feeling in my head the first few days but other than that it seems to be helping, and I am able to sleep, which significantly helps my coping abilities during the day, and am more focused. I keep reading horrible stories of people who go off Lexapro and have awful problems. How likely is that to occur?
Avatar m tn I think it would be a good idea for both of you to get counseling to help deal with your loss. You might want to find a grief support group in your area too. Take care.

424839 tn?1268186246 My question is about these quotes I have been posting I would like to know if I posted some on religon would that offend anyone being that must would be refferancing Buddhsium but when you read the quotes the can be transfered into anyones faith so I would like to know if people would be offended thanks.
Avatar n tn I can't believe that no one has responded to your question!! I am so sorry for that. Coping with the loss of a loved one is a very personal situation for each child. There are so many factors that weigh into how the child copes. I'm not an expert by any means as to what you might want to do other than to say the child should receive some sort of emotional therapy after the event. Even if they say they don't want or need it.
