copaxone

Avatar f tn Having sex every other day is a good way to help conceive faster. It gives the sperm time to build up so he'll have a higher down count when you guys have sex.
Avatar f tn I'm 16 I started my cycle at 13 I've been on the pill to help with my severe cramps and around January 2012 I had a break through period that should have not been there I went to the ob gyn and they said I was still developing and it should be fine, but it never fixed itself from then to now I've been on depo which didn't work, estradiol, and the implanon, which all have not worked. I have been bleeding every day or every other day out of the year.
1053159 tn?1255144519 When I was having trouble affording it they advised me against every other day. It might be that it has never been studied every other day so that is how the FDA approved it. Since the interferons are not every day it would make sense if that Copaxone worked longer than 24 hours that is how it would be administered. I am doing all the things you are with diet but I am not take the gamble. Oh and Copaxone has done nothing for my symptoms.
Avatar f tn I just saw your post. I take 50 mcg's of synthroid every other day and I feel like a million bucks after doing so. I did it on my own because I felt and looked like **** when taking it everyday. I skip the medicine entirely every other day. It's a mistake to take two different doses every other day. Just stick with one dose every other day and give your body a total rest from the medicine every other day. I don't know why it works but it works.
Avatar m tn i have a 2 yr old little girl who has been having loose stools every other day for the past few months. the frequency is normal (1-3 x's)per day but its starting to worry me. She is not weak or anything, infact she is full of energy but im starting to get a little worried.
Avatar n tn I believe there has been some talk about the possibilities of Copaxone retaining effectiveness with every other day dosing but this does NOT have official sanction as far as I know. Even so, daily half-dosing can't necessarily be compared side-by-side to every other day full dosing.
1678656 tn?1369233818 Okay, so I am coming up on a year since I started my copaxone injections and I am not totally sure that it is working for me. The shots are going fine. I'm pretty used to it by now. However, I'm not totally sure exactly what I'm supposed to be experiencing right now. I seem to have more symptoms than I've ever had. I was in "limbo" for 5 years prior to my diagnosis and have had more MS symptoms in this last year since my diagnosis.
398059 tn?1447945633 Nice of you to ask. By half shots I assume Jane means doing it every other day rather than daily. I can't imagine using only 1/2 of a syringe at a time - tht would be incredibly unsafe for a number of reasons.
Avatar n tn Entecavir is very expensive in Philippines. Can I take it every other day? Or Can I split it to half?
Avatar m tn Anyone know whether it is okay to take levothyroxine every other day? I am prescribed 75 mg for hypothyroidism, but due to insurance I decided to take levothyroxine every other day and 6 months later my blood test showed that my thyroid levels were...normal. How can this be?? In fact, I really have not felt any side effects from this decreased dosage.
1415174 tn?1453243103 I have variable pain day to day. Almost like clock work it is low one day, moderate or high the next, low, moderate until after I haven't injured myself for a while then it startst to level off. I did notice that when I took either Tylenol or Celebrex on the bad day it started to break the cycle. Any suggestions or has anyone seen this?
Avatar f tn Is it safe to take every other day. I find that it does help my depression when I take it this way but I am not sure if it is going to cause more problems by taking it this way. Thanks in advance.
620048 tn?1358018235 I'm on it, but don't take it everyday as it causes large red raised welts, and insomnia...I'm one of the lucky 10% that gets insomnia from it. lol But my doc is ok with me having it every few days because it's better than not being on anything.
620048 tn?1358018235 I know they have looked at different way to dose Copaxone - including reducing the amount and another study that looked at going to an every other day injection. I was thinking that neither of those worked out in the studies, but I may be remembering that incorrectly. I'm going to a copaxone sponsored talk this week and will ask that question if I remember.
Avatar m tn It is an injection every day and not always a pleasant experience at that. The site burns like crazy afterward and I end up with a welt sometimes. The plus side: My nuerologist tells me its the mildest of all the DMD's out there. The side effects seem to be way less harsh in comparison. I hope this helps.
Avatar n tn What symptoms do you have? If the Copaxone is not working you have every right to ask for another DMD. I suffered with symptoms for too many years because I did not know any different. My GP treats most of my symptoms because it is easier to contact her and be seen. I am sorry you were on the slow track. One day medical science will shake their heads at the conservatism of this time in MS diagnosis and treatment.
Avatar n tn I just started taking Copaxone, last Friday. The injection site reactions are the biggest side effects with Copaxone. I've had no other side effects other than a little bit of anxiety after a shot was given and a feeling of something being different--which has gone away. The injection site reactions looked pretty impressionable, at first. The first five days they were about the size of a baseball of red area with about a half-dollar sized fluid-filled middle area.
198419 tn?1360242356 This post is from new member LIME74 - it was posted on the Gilenya discussion, but wanted it here.... Here it is...copied and pasted for you. ----------------------------------------------- Hi, I was diagnose with MS in 2000. I have used the interferon ABCs and currently on Gilenya. Yes, it's hard to inject every day, even every other day was a drama for me. I would act like a two year old having a tantrum.
7463086 tn?1391008763 Just read that the FDA has approved Copaxone to be given at a higher dose 3 times a week as apposed to a lower does every day. This med is one that I was considering starting for treatment. Does anyone have any thoughts or informationabout the dosage or even the medication?
Avatar f tn I have been on Copaxone for about two months. I have horrible, horrible itching and red welts like many of you that last for 2-3 days. It is driving me nuts. I spoke with the Shared Solutions nurse that did my in-home training for the injections and she was not able to offer any real solution aside from the OTC creams, which don't work. I read that a mix of two parts baking soda and one part water helps relieve itching - as a homeopathic remedy - but I have not tried it.
1532707 tn?1312155924 I know your supposed to rotate injection sites, could you do left and right ride of your stomach every other day or break up the stomach area into a quadrant and just rotate around the quadrant? What do you do on your schedule?
