If your 38 weeks they will probaby let you keep having contractions. I went to the hospital with my first when I was 3 cm and told me to walk. So I did had contractions for 2 day then finally delivered.

Will you know when your contractions get stronger/closer? I didnt even know i was contracting until they hooked me up to a monitor today. Im 1 cm dilated and 38+5. Im scared that since i didnt notice these ones until earlier when i saw them, i wont know when to go to the hospital.

So my braxton hicks contractions have been going on for 3 or 4 days... every like hour or 2... will this stop anytime soon...

Was told by nurse to come back if the pain gets bad, so I went back last night due to pain but CTG shows no sign of contractions at all. Doctor confirmed my contractions 2 days ago was labor contractions. I'm curious, does regular contractions go away?

If you begin to labor they will perform c-section. You want to call as soon as possible and let them know about contractions that are regular.

Yes you can have a natural birth with high blood pressure so long as no other risk factors present themselves. You will be monitored closely but should still be able to do what you need to do for a natural delivery (if you have a midwife they'll most likely be with you for the entirety of labor and delivery whereas an OB will only be there when it's time to push). The best thing is probably to get in the water and find something that is relaxing.

I went to the Dr for my 35 week check up and I am 3 cm dilated and 80 percent effaced. Dr told me people can be dilated at 3 cm for weeks but I have been having pretty regular contractions. I'm a ftm and wondering if all this could possibly mean my prince is coming early?

Your dr will check to see if you are dilating and if your cervix is thinning I just had my 35 week check up she Also just to see if my baby is in the head down position

They admit you when you are in active labor. You probably won't teach 5 cm until then. They don't even want to see you until your contractions are consistently under 5 minutes apart. Bo's until you are in labor they don't keep you. They will stitch an incompetent cervix.

At 33 weeks exactly I started dropping, ive had to have contractions stopped twice, once at 27 weeks and once at 33+5. Yesterday I noticed my belly had dropped even more as it does daily and I dont think it can drop any farther and I also lost my mucous plug and had my bloody show yesterday around 11. You will know. Ur either going to start feeling contractions, or your water will break. Contractions feel different for everyone. Mine felt like really bad period cramps every 5 minutes. I'm in the bathroom literally every half hour to pee and I have these random pulsating cramps all over my belly that go away after a few seconds. Cerclage came out 17th I lost my mucus plug 19th. Ive been a having some cramps but no contractions. The20th I was 1cm dilated and 80% effaced she said it could be sudden it could be slow.
