I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow. Yesterday around 6 ish I lost my mucus plug and around 730ish I started having mild contractions they did get a little stronger but nothing I couldn't just ignore. I was still having them at 10 but I was just so tired from being up all day I fell asleep. I woke up as usual to pee and each time I was still having the contractions but I just went back to sleep.

Do we go to the hospital with contractions start or when our water breaks. I wanna make sure I'm there early enough to get the IV started in time before baby gets here. Nervous I won't make it in time.

Hey ladies, I'm 26 weeks today and experiencing braxton hicks contractions. This is my 3rd pregnancy. The only thing im concerned about is that every time I get up from a sitting position, or even turn over in bed, I get a strong contraction. Anyone else experiencing this??

m a repeat csection as well and I actually went to the hospital two weeks ago actually 36 weeks because I was having contractions 5 minutes apart for 3 hours. They gave me 3 shots to stop the contractions and said if the third shot didn't work then they were going to keep me and do my csection in the morning.

m frustrated and scared. My OB is a nice person and I know that he is intelligent but I feel that he is too laid back.

Okay. Thanks, y'all. This is my 4th pregnancy but I never had Braxton hicks contractions with the other 3, never even gone into labor naturally. I was a week overdue with my son and they induced and ended up having an emergency c-section so they've all been c-section births.

Ok so I'm only 34-35w! This is my second baby and I have no idea what is going!! With my first, contractions didn't start until I was in labor. So I didn't have any false alarms and my bh didn't hurt. This one is another story! She is huge like my first.. at 31w5d I was measuring 38w! She moves literally 50x an hour somedays.. and it feels like she is going to break right out of my belly button, I must be black and blue in there!

s my question has anyone else dilated pretty far with almost no contractions? I guess my other question is if you dilate to an excessive amount with no contractions what then like at this point I'm at 5cm at least 50% effaced fromwhat dr said...what if I get to seven will they finally realize this baby might be coming with out them? What's the protocol for something like that lol.

My first son I didnt feel any contractions. Even went into preterm labor this time and monitored at 8-10min apart contractions and had no clue i was contracting. They put me on bed rest at 27/28 weeks. So I hope I know if I feel contrax but with my history I don't know if I will. So I am being careful with any "feeling" of a contraction. Ok so I'm 30 weeks, and at about 1pm today I started getting the worst cramps and back pain. It lasted three hours.so I finally went into l&d. They hooked me up. Waited. Said I had a few contractions and alot if irritability. They wouldn't check me. Abd this pain is so bad. I can't move . Just want to bawl my eyes out. It is now 7 hours later and nothing has changed or eased up. They sent me home. I don't get it.

I was having light contractions with no dilation before it was put in. I had been dilated to a 2 for weeks and having regular contractions with no progress. When they took it out I had dilated to a 4 and almost 100% effaced. It caused me to have contractions 2 minutes apart so I didn't have to get pitocin labored on my own for the rest of the day and my water broke on its own. I had a good experience with it would definitely choose to be induced with it again if I had to.
