5431850 tn?1381682097 Am I the only one who constantly worries about the health of my unborn? I know all test have come out prefect and ultrasounds look good but there are always other things that could be wrong that nobody notices until the child is a couple months old. One of my biggest fear is always worrying if my child is getting enough oxygen in the womb. I'm only 28 weeks and I keep contracting so I keep worrying that too many contractions are restricting blood flow.

800427 tn?1324945719 You may feel the pain starting from deep inside your groin, moving upward and outward on either side to the top of your hips. The pain is internal, but if you were to trace it on your skin, it would follow the bikini line on a very high-cut bathing suit. When should I call my doctor or midwife? The sharp, jabbing type of round ligament pain shouldn't last longer than the few seconds in which you're changing position or getting up.

8975030 tn?1402144712 It's weird I've felt pressure and the baby rolling across my cervix, but the way everyone explains contractions I haven't had any. I've had sharp pains in my vag area, and it's always when the baby is moving around. The only things keeping me from thinking that it is contractions is I don't feel the need to push, and my belly doesn't get super tight.
Avatar f tn They had to give me a **** in the hospital to stop the contractions, and ever since then im on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy and I have to take this pill called Nifepidine every 4 hours until I am 32 weeks to make sure my little guy doesn't come too early.

Avatar f tn 80% for three weeks ): it must just be a girl things cause that's what I'm having to lol ! I've tried everything also. Sex walking squats primrose oil pineapple yoga ball .. Truth be told nothing works it's all up to the baby .
Avatar f tn I has a c-section like, but only after 8 hours of the most horrific contractions with no dilation. The doctors were ready to send me home because, even though I was having contractions constantly, I wasn't dilating and couldn't be considered in labor. But I can't remember much about those 8 hours because of the pain. However I do hope it depends on the situation because this baby is coming out the old fashioned way.
Avatar n tn You have tendons in your abdomen, and your growing uterus/belly is straining those tendons so it is natural to have cramps even on just one side. Yes, try drinking water.
1695942 tn?1306511468 It could be that you are just feeling the baby and the baby is positioned on one side of the uterus, and it could be that you have a bicornuate uterus and the baby is on one side, or it could be that you are not feeling your uterus at all but your kidney or something else. If the doctor thinks you are fine, you're probably fine.
Avatar n tn t be thrown into menopuase however many docs say that the interruption of blood flow to the ovaries due to the surgery can put one into menopause. Thirdly you could have a total hysto removing both uterus and ovaries and be done with the whole thing. Again, you would be put right into surgical menopause. Have you thought about possibly taking Lupron, this is a med that puts a person into an induced menopuase... so there you have it.
