contractions on only one side

So since I haven't gotten many feed back on here like I do on babycenter I was wondering does anyone get cramps on only one side on your first trimester? Like I hadn't had them just yet and tonight I am having them cramps ok and off like contractions... But mild though. Is it normal?

What you are experiencing can very well be a migraine. Most migraines are only on one side. I am not sure why they suggest saline unless your nose is stuffy? Some things you can try for migraines are: Excedrin for one....it is a combo of Tylenol, Aspirin and Caffeine, but is OTC so, it is nothing major but probably work better than just plain Advil. You can try either a hot or cold pack...whichever is more comfy to you.

) Anyhow my question is,.....is it normal to only feel the baby move on one side vs the other. I always feel her move on my right side and in the middle but NEVER on my left. Could my placenta just be on my left side more and tha'ts why I don't feel her over there? Just curious. My husband got to feel her move last week and last night again she was kicking harder than ever! she made my skin move and made me squeal! I wasnt expecting such a kick! LOL! THanks for the info!

My sons 4 1/2 months old and only sleeps on one side of his head. I try and turn it after he falls asleep but he fights me and puts it back on the same side. His ear is starting to get compressed and asymmetrical to the other ear. What can I do?

They had to give me a **** in the hospital to stop the contractions, and ever since then im on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy and I have to take this pill called Nifepidine every 4 hours until I am 32 weeks to make sure my little guy doesn't come too early.

Am I the only one who constantly worries about the health of my unborn? I know all test have come out prefect and ultrasounds look good but there are always other things that could be wrong that nobody notices until the child is a couple months old. One of my biggest fear is always worrying if my child is getting enough oxygen in the womb. I have pain in the back of my throat only on one side and it feels as if the very back of my tongue on that side could also be feeling some pain. It is not a burning sensation like a normal sore throat but more of life an ache that is amplified every time I swallow. Is it possible for TMJ to only be one one side? I tried looking on medical websites, and it seems from what I read it is on both sides. Since last Thurs (5 days ago) the right side hurts extremly bad. Seems to be getting worse. I've tried, heat, massaging it, and muscle relaxants. When in the sun or working hard I only sweat on one side of my head...it can be soaking wet and the only side completely dry. 4 days and no constant contractions THINK ill be on my treadmill soon

This is my third pregnancy and i have never experienced contractions on one side. Your whole stomach should be getting extremely.tight and hard(usually 3-5 minutes apart for an hour or more)That is a contraction which can be followed or accompanied by cramps and back aches.

One of my physician's has trigem. neuralgia and he says it bothers him only in the cold and wind & when he gets extremely upset...takes a pill and he's fine--wish that was easy for all of us. I thought Trigem. was only on one side of the face. I've been told I have trigem. by three drs.---all wrong. Gabapentin did nothing for me except swell up my ankle--watch side effects of meds. t give me any advice and it makes me feel like a trailblazer or something. I guess my only strategy is to take one of those childbirth classes so I get a better sense of what I'm supposed to be doing and what my options are, but otherwise I just try not to think about it too much. Definitely getting an epidural too.
