When u say faint do u mean slow? If it's slow... what is the heart rate? Or barely visible? How far along are u?
I was aat 14 weeks and my doctor told me "don't paint the room but it looks like a boy". Seems wrong because the babys heart rate is still 176 and I've never seen a baby boy with a heart rate that high. Has anyone ever had the first prediction be wrong?

Doctors are telling me that most probably the cyst will disappear by 24 weeks.Though the foetal heart is perfectly normal, is still there is any chance of heart defects due to the echogenic focus. Doctor thinks that aminocentesis is bit risky. She suggested me to wait till 24 weeks for next Ultrasound.Pls.suggest what should I do?
Sorry for your loss I lost my baby at 16 weeks the heart just stoped beating. I had a D &E on March 27, 09 and seen my doctor just last Monday for a check up. I was told it was a girl and everything was perfect they couldnt find anything wrong from all the tests they had done. My doctor says that sometimes there is no answere. Its hard not knowing but at the same time I am happy that there was nothing wrong with me or my husband not to try again.
highest probably 190/120, but lowest it ever gets is 130/95... if I am lucky. My heart rate never drops under 100 bpm, average is about 140. I do see a cardiologist. Who insists on putting me on bp meds which seem to have no effect. I have had my kidneys tested, thyroid, an extensive amount of blood work, nothing seems to point to a cause. I was diagnosed with a mitral valve prolapse when I was probably 12, but as I got older they said they couldn't hear a prolapse anymore.
She went to the cardiologist because of lack of energy and shortness of breath. He put her on the treadmill and her heart rate actually decreased. I had one every week with my son. How long it takes can depend on baby. They have to see (on the machine print out) the baby's heart rate at resting rate, active rate, resting rate. It's not hard. Typically they give you a juice to get the results. It's not really to measure your contractions, more to make sure baby is still regulating their heart rate.
I went to the Dr yesterday had a ultrasound and she is 5 lbs 11 oz! Her heart rate was 164. The Dr then checked me and said I was only open a finger tip. :/ well stomach is usually like jello :( but today it keeps getting hard then it will get soft again then it will get hard again. I'm not experiencing any pain. So my question is why does my stomach keep getting hard as a rock then soft then hard again?
So yesterday I posted about being dizzy n falling. Well ended up in l&d I was in pain didn't realize pains were contractions that were 3mins apart. Cause it just felt constant pain. They checked my cervix and when got there I was 1cm and nurse could feel baby's head. They immediately started an iv and gave me meds to stop contractions. The meds (wish I could remember what it was) slowed them down and that helped with the pain.
My experience the heart remodeled (dilated type) due to weak contractions (some impairment of heart muscle) and heavy workload (high blood pressure) for the heart to pump against. By reducing the heart's afterload (bp meds, beta blocker, med to increase contractions, etc) there has been a reverse remodeling and my heart size is within the normal range.
I actually, with my first, ended up quite dehydrated when I went in to deliver. I had hours of fluid and a high heart rate. So, drink small bits of water/gatoraid every 15 minutes.
I know that during my deliveries I always need Zofran for nausea and vomiting.
It will be over soon hon. If you feel horrible----- call your doctor. they dont' want you to get dehydrated.

I am currently 31 weeks but I been feeling my heart rate faster than ever when I am laying down. Was wondering if this is normal has it happened to anyone else? I am concern, when this happens I also feel a headache and start feeling really hot plus get really red in my checks. Please someone share if you have felt this way and what can I do or why does it happen. Thank you!
delivery where they realized the babies heart rate dropped when i was having very mild contractions (that I couldn't even feel). Ultrasound found low amniotic fluid. They ended up flying me to a bigger hospital where I had an emergency c section. My son will be 5 this Christmas. I'm very thankful for the nst. They don't believe my son would have survived the contractions as they got worse.
