People's brains can have amazing deficits and positives. Kids with different deficits tend to be able to compensate somehow.
I think if I were you I'd get letter flashcards, and go at it as a game. All he has to do is name the letters, he doesn't have to do sounds or words that start with or anything. Make a game of it, and make it short. Like, 3 minutes.
Maybe go over 5 letters for a couple minutes. This is M, this is E, etc.
m not sure if my personal life affects this or not or if i just cut off my blood circulation in my left arm, but i feel it in both my arms and legs and chest so I don't think that's it.
I haven't seen a doctor in about two years and the only problems i've ever had is being lactose intolerant and having seasonal allergies.

On my right eye, I have what looks like a 'tear' drop on the sclera (pharmist's verbs). just noticed this recently when looking at the mirror while washing. You can't notice it unless you look very hard. It does not impair my vision or anything like that. I went to the pharmacy and he gave me anti-biotic eye drops (containng chloramphenicol 0.5%W/V) saying it looks like conjuctivtis. There is stickiness of the eyes etc. - usual symptoms of conjunctivis.

Our naming regulations: Uncommon but immediately recognizable and without any weird spellings (no extraneous letters especially x's or y's where they don't belong - because IMO Jazzmynn will never be anything but a stripper name). Easy to pronounce. No nouns (Hunter, Heaven, Mercedes), no place names (Austin, Brooklyn, Georgia), just names that are names.

Often when the zoning out begins, I cannot remember the immediate past for up to a minute or two. I have difficulty finding nouns especially proper nouns when speaking. Other parts of my speech seem okay. When doing acaemic writing I note when rereading text that I skip over syllables or use words that begin with the same or similar sounds to the word I am planning to use. All of this is alarming.
I find I am exhausted after a disagreement (normal disagreement) with the ,kids or I need to lie down for a while with exhaustion - both which pass after about 20 minutes of lying down. During these episodes I have balance trouble where if I am out I appear drunk and have trouble thinking clearly. I also have trouble with nouns. I have had fasting blood sugars taken which show normal range.
I am 1.70cm hieght and weigh 68kg, 45 years old. My blood pressure is 120/80 normally.

Totally agree with Kyle but wanted to add that infections and fevers are known to set off MS relapses if bad enough, or whats called pseudo relapses (not real), so if you did happen to have MS after all, that could be the reason why you may seem worse during or after an out break.

My doctors (internal and oby gyn) suspect that my forgetfulness, and my diminishing ability to cognitively speak are due to my endometriosis. Which, can be more than true. But will this cause me to say things I was not intended on saying? For instance, I'll be talking about research (I'm in grad school) and instead of saying "his paper" I'll say "the chair" because it was in my line of sight. I do not do this on purpose.
