3062962 tn?1406743961 I'm a little worried that I might go into labor today...I'm due tomorrow so it's not as though the baby wouldn't be ready, but my dr is out of town today and didn't tell me who would be taking care of me should something happen, I have one more room of my house to clean out before the baby comes, my 13 mo son has been running a fever of 103 and won't let me leave his side, and anybody I have to watch him is at least 3 hrs away.
Avatar f tn Okay so my due date is coming up pretty soon and I have nothing resembling a plan, I don't even have my bags packed yet (bad I know lol). I was just curious what you ladies had on your plans, I have no ideas where to start...I don't even know who I want in the room at delivery. Help?
Avatar f tn I plan on going natural, no meds and only intervention if medically needed. I plan on attending a birth class and reading the hypnobirthing book. This will be my second time. I loved the first birth and I'm excited for this one!
Avatar f tn So yesterday I was bragging about how much I wanted my princess to stay in at least till the 18th but she had other plans , ever since Monday I was having real bad contractions but just was brushing it off bc I thought my BH was just getting stronger bc I was nearing the end.
Avatar f tn I remember it pissed me off because my husband kept trying to talk to me during contractions. I finally told him to shut the heck up and he got offended I think until his mom explained it to him.
5889951 tn?1380316047 Ok I know that a lot of women post about contractions as ftm. I am having a pain that I think "may" be contractions. I keep having a pain that is literally in my vagina but further up like in my cervix area. I feel like my son's head is putting a lot of pressure on my bladder but then the pain is really really sharp and stabby like. It has been going on for about 30 min and it isn't time consistent at the moment.
1269044 tn?1393189903 This is such a good post. It's so ingrained in us to isolate and pull away when we need to be reaching out and talking about what we are going through and how we are feeling. We all can learn a lesson from this. I'm sorry you are going through wds again but oh so proud of you for finding your way back. You will be through this in no time, then never have to go through it again. Hang in there and treat yourself good my friend.
Avatar n tn I think the first 7 months went fast for me because i was working 6 days a week and was busy through out the days because i was teaching my mornings flew by and the evenings too with making lesson plans and all the markings etc
2103516 tn?1350948515 Taking even ONE pain pill so soon in my detox set me back to the way I felt at day 3. It's a miserable day. So if you're arguing with yourself and having a conversation like this: "I'm doing so well, one or two pills won't hurt and I only need it temporarily to get a little relief." then PLEASE STOP NOW... because "just one" can hurt and it only drags out the W/D symptoms. We've come too far to take steps backward! I hate pills...
Avatar f tn My birth mother dumped my sister and I out of her car when I was 2 yrs old and my sister was 1. She left us on the street and drove off. She was addicted to drugs and 2 kids hampered her style. I think that this was a defining moment in my life... I don't trust people easily at all and I've always had a huge steel wall around my heart.. It's almost impossible to break through the barrier.
Avatar f tn We walked yesterday..about 1.5 maybe 2 miles. So far i have had 4 contractions this morning! Walking appears to be working!
Avatar f tn Sounds like Braxton hicks, but BH contractions aren't supposed to be frequent like that. My doctor said if you can time them and if they get closer together over the day they might be real contractions.
Avatar f tn I have no plans, i'm more of a wing it kind of person...as for decor...HAH you should my house...
2863077 tn?1436670789 What are some of your plans for after having your baby? I plan on making my husband buy me a foot long sub from Subway and a 44 oz coke LOL. Since becoming pregnant my husband wont let me eat subs or drink coke.. he says it makes him worry?!
1926656 tn?1334970201 m going to end up taking a long vacation in a little hospital room soon my mother wanted me to start figuring out plans for my two year old in every situation I can think of..... But I have no idea where to start!!!! I wish it was easy to just say "call his dad, and he'll stay with his dad until all is better" but he is SO unreliable!
Avatar f tn I fell heading out to my car this morning and landed on my knee (not my belly and didn't hit my head). I dropped my stepson off at daycare and was going to go in to work, but my back was bothering me a bit and I started to get all weepy and nervous, even though my baby boy was moving around a ton. I went to the ER, and from there they sent me to labor and delivery.
Avatar f tn But we plan and plan and then God plans, and in the end God is the best of planners. I am just soo happy with the outcome. :) Lesson for labor that I learned... if a doctor or nurse is in the room, dont shy away from asking questions or saying no to something you are uncomfortable with. Its your body, listen to it!! Trust me, at that point your body has a mind of its own and its doing everything in your favor. Dont ignore it because the doc said so...
Avatar n tn ( someone should have traded with you.
Avatar f tn They've stopped contractions twice, hoping I hold out until February 9th. Had to start maternity leave early, was planning on working until the bitter end. Of course baby has his own plans, worried about being in nicu and not wanting to be separated from him.
Avatar f tn Depends on if you have started to dialight or not.if you have then they will start pitocin to start your labor slowly.then they will check on you ever so often then once you are ready they will break your water then if you're like I was it should not take to much longer for your consideration to start. Then you go with your birth plans for pain relief.
Avatar f tn This is also my third... The only plans I have are to wait it out at the house till contractions are maybe 2-3mins apart.. I don't like going to hospital unless I need too.. And I don't wanna be laboring there confide to a bed... I rather be home.. I did it with last baby and I was able to have my natural delivery... I also do want them to give baby pacifier at hospital... I'm breastfeeding and I don't want any confusion...
10233378 tn?1427161882 Water just broke little over an hour ago! Starting to get cramps but I'm a ftm and not sure how contractions will feel. Help please ladies!!! Was hoping she'd wait a couple more weeks but looks like she has other plans!.
Avatar f tn I've been having pressure today and having irregular contractions. I know with first pregnancies the babies can drop and it still be 2 weeks or more from delivery but I've heard with subsequent pregnancies once they drop it happens sooner.. This will be my 3rd baby and I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow. Does anyone know if this is true? My family is 8 hours away and they aren't planning on coming in until Wed the 15th.. I'm wondering if I need to try to get them in sooner..
Avatar f tn I dilated quickly, labor only lasted 5hours. No psin meds. No matter how painful my contractions were/are I'm so proud of myself going natural all the way. I will not take some epidural risk just to be comfortable. I loved my all natural birth experience, it was amazing to feel my baby girl's body slide out. Pain is normal, birth is beautiful it's not a scary experience.
