Avatar f tn Same as myself I was in hospital the other day with contractions and nothing happening....they said I'm probably in slow Labour but sure I dunno lol.....I feel like a fool at times. my boys are14 and 12 but on my second I didn't realize I was in Labour for hours ....
Avatar f tn I feel stronger contractions this time but they r still painless n irregular...true labour contractions r at regular intervals, more painful. N have u lost the mucus plug?when I was pregnant with my first baby...
Avatar f tn So today I have been having some pretty 'intense' contractions. Not too painful but take my breathe away. I wasn't thinking too much about it until I went pee about 2 hours ago and wiped some blood. It wasn't pink, it was actually like a small amount of mucousy blood. Everytime I go pee there is a little bit less each time. But I am still having contractions and my back is starting to get kinda sore.
Avatar f tn ve been having a lot of contractions (I think the real ones because it radiates to my back and is in my pelvis as well), but they are not in any sort of pattern.. is this the early labour stages or just false labour?
Avatar n tn but I have walked around the house, and its still going.
Avatar f tn I'm worried I Won't no when labour has started what if I don't recognise the difference between BH And actual laBour as my Bh are quite painful.
Avatar f tn So I'm 36 weeks and pregnant with my first baby ive had a few bumps in the road that lead me to a high risk doctor while there they hooked me up to the monitor and told me I was having some contractions obviously not lasting that long but they where there...funny thing is I didn't feel them, then when seeing my regular obgyn I asked about the mucus plug and the nurse told me it's completely normal to begin losing it now which I have.
4476031 tn?1374200674 Its probably false labour. What u are expetiencing are contractions but when u are in full labour they wont stop they will just continue to intensify. Keep timing them and when they get regular and 5 mins apart then its a good time to call ur doc. Your time is near goodluck mama.

1840402 tn?1355432565 ) I had that for a day before the harder contractions started. Time them just to see if there is a pattern. You are looking for a pattern and 1 minute long contractions. Good luck!
Avatar f tn No real contractions are just that...they are real and progress into labour... and because the contractions do stop that means they are BH... to rule out true labour contractions your are supposed to do the opposite of what you were doing when they started... if your resting and you feel them then get up and move around and they should subside... if you are walking or are being active when you rest they should subside...
Avatar f tn It sounds like you are in early labour though. As soon as your contractions get 5-10 minutes apart make sure you call your doctor as they will probably tell you to come in.
4842016 tn?1372039067 I've had contractions (went into labour prematurely @ 26 weeks) but I'm a ftm so I haven't been in full blown labour but my contractions felt like pressure, like bub was pushing out but all over my stomach, and I was having bad period like cramps. But it may be different for everyone!
Avatar f tn I think i might be having contractions 2 months early, but i'm not sure, what do i do to figure out?
Avatar f tn I was up all night with contractions, i am 31 weeks, they got as close as every 15 minutes, that went on for hours before they eased up, this is my third baby never had this before should i be concerned it's a sign of having him early?
Avatar f tn The other morning I went to the hospital because I was worried about some cramping pains that I haven't had before, the midwife checked me out (I'm 38+6 on this day) and she said what I was experiencing was contractions at 7 minutes apart, and that she would expect me to be in full labour later that day. It's now 24 hours since, ive had on and off contractions all day, some closer (6-7 mins apart but not painful) and some more painful ones about 15 minutes apart.
1905116 tn?1444425264 Did anyone feel really rubbish before going into labour? I'm 40+6 and started feeling awful a few hours ago. I managed some sleep but am pretty achy (period pain like) and just generally feel terrible (exhausted/flu like) but have had no good contractions. This is my 4th baby, but I don't remember ever feeling rubbish beforehand.
Avatar f tn Contractions come out the blue wen u least expect it least that's how it was for both my pregnancy. They are painful all in ur abdomin its lots of pressure super tight like major cramps but worse they come every 5min n they dnt go away n they get stronger and stronger its hard to walk n talk through them warm bath walking or lying down does not help. after about 2/3 hrs of constant contractions that are so painful intolerable u r probably in labor. Good luck chicka yer gettin close.
Avatar f tn So I've been getting contractions that are 10 minutes apart and lasting between 10-20 seconds. Could this be it?
7417215 tn?1403487102 When i had my daughter two weeks ago i had back labour and back contractions which was the worst pain EVER!! Ive always suffered with back pain when having periods etc.. So i kind of knew in my heart that i was going to have back labour. I am a first time mom and you just know the difference between cramps and contractions.
Avatar f tn When contractions are about 3 minutes apart your defiantly hospital ready labour. At the moment you could be in a false labour, but to be sure I would double check. either go and see a doctor, or ring one.
Avatar f tn They could be, my friend was in early labour for a whole week! It may be false labour, where you get real contractions but then they subside... My contractions were very bearable early on, actually quite pleasant, so you won't necessarily be screaming in pain straight away... Certainly sounds like your body is preparing itself, whatever the case, so good luck!
