m wondering is is there a possibility of having Braxton hicks contractions in your back? I keep getting this cramping feeling in my lower back on the left side just randomly throughout the day. It's not pleasant at all but it's not unbearable pain either. I'm only 33 weeks.
Is it normal to have contractions in your back after sex ? My back starts to contract after and sometimes does that even when I'm not doing anything.

Never hurts to ask your doctor! Contractions usually start from your back and wrap around your tummy. It kindof sounds like your baby may just be lowering deeper but you never know!
Is it possible to get contractions in your back and it not be actual back labor? I'm praying my baby is facing the right direction still and didn't turn sunny side up.
You should time them... Even if you call they are going to ask you to time them then call back.

Are they coming in intervals and lasting about a min? If so I would say yes you are probably having back labor. Have you lost your plug?
When I was in labor, with two of three kids, it was back labor. The first time they wouldn't let me do anything to relieve it and forced the epidural on me. With my second back labor(9 days ago) I stalled out at five cm and was encouraged to get on my hands and knees to try to get baby to turn his head from face up to face down. It worked and made my contractions start up and my water to break. They said I was having back labor cause of his position.

I'll be 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow and so far I've had literally no contractions, no braxton hicks etc, all I really get is a crampy feeling, but I've got really bad back pain which comes and goes, and bad rib pain too... from my last midwife app two week ago he's 3/5th engaged he's been head down for a while now, he's dropped really low I can literally feel him headbutting down there to the point I worry he'll just pop out, anyone know if there back contractions?

39 weeks And a day and my baby has been super active which is resulting in the " lightning" stage, well now I'm having uncomfortable contractions in my back. Is there anything I can so to alleviate some of this?

That's what it sounds like. I had them off and on randomly for a few days, then nothing. After 2 days i had those terrible menstrual like cramps and heavy colored discharge; i called in to ask about them, the nurse told me i was in preterm labor. Turns out it was round ligaments and a bruised appendix (he's a kicker), and the back pain from earlier was just Hicks contractions.
Still have back contractions after lik 5 hrs smh there hurting worst no on call nurse said drank water lay dwn and. Take sum Tylenol. I did all of that 3 hrs ago smh anybody else have this problem I'm mad.
hmm idk bc for some reason lately i always start out on my side but when i wake up in the middle of the night i'm ALWAYS on my back bc it's so much more comfortable and i've never been the person to sleep on my back, i think that is a ?
Contractions 10 minutes apart - very uncomfortable but luckily still short
That's what i thought it was but it might be actual contractions i got checked today at 33-6 and I'm already dilated to a 3 so i had to go in for steroid shots just incase she is trying to come early if it's in your back i would call the doctor
