You may not actually know at first. With my first my water broke and I didn't have contractions until at hospital. My second they started at 6am and i just thought i was having poop cramps and went to bathroom and back to bed. They woke me up a couple of hours later and i realized it was the same feeling (started as weak cramps that got more intense). By about 1130 my stomach was tightening as well so went to hospital.

I'm due next week too and I have back pain and contractions as well but they don't feel that painful.

I'm with you girly. I'm due in 9 days as well and no sign of labor. I haven't lost my mucus plug nor have I gotten any type of contractions yet. I'm super anxious and excited and can't wait to meet my baby girl.

I have 14 days until my due date but If i dont go into labor by my next appointmne to tuesday we will be scheuling induction. I really hope i go into labor on my own this week. Been having some contractions just nothing consistant.

I am working 5 days a week at a real slow pace, being self employed I work best I can then find a place to sleep at work. All I can do is suck it up and keep on moving, TX goes by faster it seems while working.

You shld ask for a membrane sweep in week 39 or week 40 if theirs no arrival by then hun. Mines is organised incase i dont go before to help induce me. Further on you are more effective as its a 24% help towards inducing you. Just that final help.

I'm 9 weeks as well and on my second child. I went to the doctors this past week for cramping hut no bleeding they said it's very normal because the uterus has been stretched with another baby so the ligaments are loose so you will cramp and that's fine as long as there is no bleeding or unusual discharge.

So I've been having contractions all week long. however today at about 9 they got close and were 7 minutes apart. Its now 12am and they are 6 minutes apart. 3 cm dilated..not sure what's going to happen next.

So last Friday I was admitted to the hospital for my contractions they were 5-7 minutes apart they gave me a shot to stop them an sent me home the next day but I'm still been having them on an off I'm 35 week in 3 days I'll be 36 weeks an my doctor told me not to walk or have sex Lol but I did anyway I went on a 2 hour walk yesterday an this morning I had sex anafter we had sex I got in the shower an I started to have contractions...

Thanks ladies! My boys are doing great. ! They are officially a week old today. Can't believe I have 2 more boys. They are still at the hospital in the nicu but my son chaynce should be coming home today ! Chayse should be able to come home in a few days. They both had low blood sugar but now they are both stable. The only other thing is chayse isn't strong enough to eat yet. They were born 10.10.15 Chayse was born first at 9:06am weighing 4 pounds 10.8 ounces.

That happened to me last week I had contractions and dialted to 3cm was in the hospital 2 days then they just stopped. They sent me home on bed rest.

I'll be 33 weeks on Wednesday I didn't think they were contractions there not spaced evenly very random does it mean he might be coming sooner than expected I had an appt today (he's 4lbs 10oz) but forgot to talk to him about them because we went straight to the ultrasound room but I'll pay more attention to how frequent they're coming

Sounds like your body is slowly getting ready. I had contractions for over a week before lo arrived. But I would double check with the dr just in case it's not a bug.

30 this evening, my stomach will get hard and I'm only feeling the pain in my lower abdomen and in my vagina. I'm getting too excited for my own good!

So they don't check u every week on ur last month? I'm here in California, US and we get checked every week on the last month.

Hey all! FTM here so everything is new to me... I am 37 weeks and I started having contractions Monday night but they're very sparatic... 4 min, 2 min, 10 min, 60 min, etc. So the doctor said to not be concerned until they re every 3-5 obviously. However, I haven't had any since last night around 9:30...is it normal for them to just stop? Will they be off and on...possibly not even happening for a whole day until the are the real deal? Thanks!

I am only dilated 1 and have had EXCRUCIATING contractions the past 3 days with no progress so I know once I dilate more my contractions are going to get worse and didn't know how long it took to get to 4cm after getting induced so I could get an epidural! I don't know what to expect with an induction and any advice would be helpful!

Yeah contractions are rough. It's your epidural going well, working right and everything? I went natural with my daughter, probably will only ever go natural, but I'm so curious what an epidural feels like!

I just got off of work after working 9 hours last nite and got off at 9 pm and had to be back at 7 am... I can barely move my body.... Im so glad this is my last week of work. I'm 37 weeks and I just feel like my body is giving up on me.... I wanna cry...
