Avatar f tn Hi, I've had biopsies on 3 areas (same breast), including stereo-core and MRI guided, MRI studies, many mammos, and ulltrasound studies over the past 6 weeks. Tomorrow I go to the surgeon again for his "final" opinion. When I first saw him he was mentioning possible mastectomy for my high-grade DCIS, even though it's small and in one area only. He also talked about lumpectomy and radiation. I'm pretty sure he'll say that tomorrow also.
Avatar f tn I am on strict bedrest because my placenta is grade 3 and ready for labor but when I wanna go in for the contractions they stop. I've had 2 children 1 with an epidural and 1 natural I know these are not Braxton hicks because if they were I would not be dilating.
190885 tn?1333025891 A hepatologist from the Gish group told me that 6 years for a stage was the average. it sounds like you moved a half stage in three years depending on where in stage 2 you are. It could be better, but it could be much worse as you know of course. I had a biopsy 11 and 6 years ago and was grade 2 stage o on both., This year stage 2.5 grade 2-3. The same Gish team doc told me that he thought that 6 years ago was a sampling error which seems not to be that unusual as people might think.
1425387 tn?1332554262 stage 2, grade 2. I decided to get a second opinion and went to see a specialist in the field of Hepatology at big school medical center. Judging by the thoroughness and professionalism with which the abdominal ultrasound was done at the university medical center, I thought it would be a good idea to get their opinion on the biopsy slides. I requested my local hospital to send biopsy sample slides to the univ. medical center. The report came back stating: stage 1, grade 1.
Avatar f tn I have a degree in early childhood education and that sounds like something might be off. A child should be reading in first grade.
Avatar n tn 6 lbs) is not motivated to learn his letters at all. He seems to have no interest in retaining the info learned in school or at home. In fact, when I work with him one on one he seems to id the letters and sounds about 50% of the time. i am wondering if this is immaturity or a learning disorder.
Avatar m tn Hi my sister (Sandra) has been diagnosed with an Anaplastic asrtrocytoma grade 3 tumor. The neuro surgeon and clinical nurses have told us the tumor is unusual as in where it is situated so surgery is not an option also radiotherepy is not an option because they say there is a 20% chance that she could be damaged by this.
Avatar m tn Grade 2 and grade 3 are managed conservatively with suprapubic cystostomy or urethral catheterisation which is being done in your case. Hence your injury may be grade 2 or 3 which hopefully can be managed conservatively. In this urethral injuries can be treated with the insertion of a catheter, which is usually left in place for 14 to 21 days to allow the urethra to mend, and then an X-ray is performed to confirm that the injury has healed. Alternately a cystogram can also be done.
Avatar n tn I've been dilated at 3cm for 3 weeks, until yesterday where I went to 4! Was kept in L&D for 4 hours with contractions and no progression! Lol...it's so sad cause you get SO excited and then things just...stop. I hope things move quickly for you!
Avatar f tn Yeah I am and, Unfortunately no we don't do sport in grade 12 unless you pick it as a subject. I was thinking about joining a gym. By the way I am a vegitarian it makes me feel more energised, and I have been doing it every second month this year, and have it well managed.
Avatar f tn I was induced with my second child only because I was in a lot of pain especially "down there" so we begged my Dr to induce me. She came wayyyy quicker then my son she didn't even give me the time to let the epidural kick in she came so quick.
Avatar n tn My step-daughter used to stare out the window in class during the 1st grade. She was not fond of her teacher. She did much better in the second grade and is doing well above average now in the third grade. It may be better next year. In my opinion, the writing will not help. He will listen if what he hears is interesting or if the teacher is interesting and energetic. What happened to energetic teachers?
Avatar n tn She broke my water !Then contractions came in...I labored for 1hr 55mins..Easy than the 1st.natural too..No complications either.
Avatar f tn He had a colonoscopy done by a gastroentrologist and the biopsy confirmed that he has an invasive low grade adenocarcinoma. He is scheduled to see the surgeon at the end of August. His first appointment with the surgeon is at the hospital and it is to have another colonoscopy performed this time by the surgeon. Is this normal for the surgeon to take a second look? Has me a little considered, so if anyone can enlighten me it would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn m trying to explain thing to her, it frustrates me really bad! She will be going on to second grade on the 14 of this month but she's not ready I'm her mother I see how bad she struggles to read "blue" I'm thinking about asking her to get held back because I don't want her to struggle, would you do that to your child? My daughter is so smart when it comes to math and other things but reading is not her thing.
Avatar f tn I'm in the same situation, getting a second opinion at the Mayo Clinic where I'd rather have the surgery if I am convinced it is nec scary.
Avatar n tn I didnt see a doctor till 7 am the next morning. I never had any contractions until they started pitocin, and broke my second bag of waters. Never knew you could have two bags? It was kinda nice because I got a full nights rest before going in. But the inducing was not fun. Being at 5cm for a week before, I knew it was going to happen soon.
Avatar f tn I'm in the hospital dilated 1 with contractions 2 min apart and I'm hurting so bad. They really need to do something bc I'm in terrible pain.
Avatar f tn Ok ladies this is my second pregnancy first girl and ive had absolute hell with her.myson was perfect anywho i was put on procardia to stop preterm labor now my question is are braxton hicks ever painful im 31wweks and i get them often but the ones i have hurt soo bad im kneeled over any advice?
Avatar f tn 2 years ago I had severe pre eclampsia with my 1st. I delivered my baby boy pre term (30 weeks). He only lived for 1 week. I swelled too much from head to foot. And now I'm 35 weeks 3 days with my girl. During my check up a while ago, I am again developing pre ec. With elevated bp and protein in urine and swelling. My doc sent me for non stress test and I thank god that everything's ok- my baby's heartbeat, the movement, and with no contractions yet. Was also sent for u/s.
Avatar n tn They monitored my contractions and checked my cervix. Doc says im in labor but my contractions are irregular....has this happened to anyone else? If so how long until active labor? This is my first baby.
Avatar f tn I'm currently 31+4 with my second and felt baring down for last week and half. I feel this it much to early? Other parents are telling my it's uncommon for baby to bare down unless your in/going into labour??! My first didn't bare down until at least 36/37w. Anyone else having same experience? Ty.
Avatar m tn So, I was in a "darkroom" last june and I did not engage in any sexual activity with anyone in that place, 1. except for that one guy who touched my genital area (both still having pants on) me doing the same to him + me having some precum, but both of us were not naked. 2.
1290113 tn?1294319043 My second was 30 min labour my first was 10 hours. They didn't give me anything for pain even tho I was screaming. I found the second one to be far more painful labour but I think that's because it was soooooo intense. The baby came out a lot easier tho with my first he had to be suctioned out and my second pretty much flew out with one push lol. I'm In trouble if it's true that every labour gets faster....
Avatar f tn m nervous to go into labor with no one else around, but I figured if I do then I call the doctor and have them count my contractions and tell if/when to come in. But at my last appointment the doctor told me "if you have to call to see when to come in, then stay at home. We don't take reservations" what the heck!? So I'm even more stressed to be alone! How can I know for sure, what contractions are and how to time them properly!?
