You slice a jelly roll (the regular one, not the chocolate one) into 1/4 inch slices. In a large glass bowl lay the sliced pieces in the bottom and up the sides of the pan. They started pitocin at 8pm and contractions started but i was not having any pain then around 11pm contractions started to increase.. my water broke at 5am and I was in so much pain that I decided to go for Epidurial, doctor and nurse were getting everything ready for epidurial but when then my nurse says 'first let me make sure how far I was in dilatation' when nurse checked me she says forget the epidurial I was in 10cm already and baby's head was almost out.
