contractions feel like what

I have back contractions/back labor.. and I wouldn't wish that on the devil. Its horrible. To make it even worse it was on one side. When I'd take a step on with that foot it just felt like life was over for me. It's painful. On the other hand I've never had stomach contraction ive felt when my baby moves to the front of my stomach I can feel her back its very uncomfortable. Is that the same?

I was wondering what contractions feel like. For the past two days I have been having these menstrual crampy feelings. They seem to come and go. Like lastnight I was on the couch and they kept coming and going. The ones lastnight were accompanied by a very bad backache. UGH. Do contractions feel similar to menstrual cramps? If not what would you describe them as feeling like. I was just wondering bc if these are contractions, I shouldn't be having them as I am only 26 weeks. Thanks.

Im 33 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first child my doctor always asks if im having contractions i always say know but i dont know what they feel like so what do they feel like and how do you know if you leaking fluid

37+3, just wondering what contractions feel like and how you can tell them apart from Braxton hicks?

For you already mommies, what did it feel like when you started having your contractions? Were you sure you were in labor or not?

Contractions feel like cramps that get worse n worse. U can feel them bc they tightened up for seconds to minutes then release. Then do it all over again. If u put ur hand on the top of ur belly which is ur uterus u can feel them tight n release. Braxton hicks will go away if u lay on ur side, take a shower, or things like that. They dont get stronger n stronger. So hope this helps.

Most people say contractions feel like period cramps, but I have to disagree. I think they feel more like cramps you get when you are trying to hold in your poop until you find a bathroom, just more intense. I think too many people focus on timing contractions. Until they begin to make you cringe and hold your breathe, there is no need to time them and can put a lot of unneeded pressure on the mother.

what do contractions feel like? Do they feel like the BH ones?

Can anyone give me an idea of what contractions will feel like ? Like where and what kind of pain( sharp, achy, etc). I'm 30wks6days and I have no idea what to expect. Besides a lot of pain lol.

My first contractions felt like I had to have a BM, I went back and forth to the bathroom 4-5 times before I realized they were contractions, as they worsened they felt like an extreme pressure/tightening/cramp, like a period cramp pressing down super hard (sounds crazy but you'll understand when it happens to you haha). When you go into labor you just get into that mode, you'll do great!

Keep getting that tighting around my stomach with cramps. Just got two big ones and I was standing up and it felt as if I was gonna pee myself. I dont think these are BH anymore. Im currently 32weeks.my question is what do contractions feel like. I want to go to L&D but dont want make that trip if they are just BH.

Braxton hicks is what I have now. It's a tightening feeling in your whole stomach that only last for a few seconds.

So I'm feeling a little sheepish asking this question, but this is my first pregnancy and the only time I've ever seen labor or a woman having contractions is on TV, which I would guess is not like the real thing. So how do you know when you're in labor? What does a contraction feel like, and how do you recognize it? Just curious, and wondering how I'll know when the time comes.

Alot of lower back pain,alot of tightness in my belly, cramp like pain in my lower abdomen. What exactly do contractions feel like...do you feel them in your lower abdomen or is it in your vagina? Sorry I just have been getting my hopes up everytime I feel something differnt. I'm just ready to have my baby boy. Thanks in advance!
