Its possible she could be sleeping. You shshoulde able to feel her when she resists a contraction though.

I have been having a good pregnancy with no problems. Breast not leaking yet, no fluid in feet and hands, no painful contractions, etc.baby was weighing 2 lbs 7 Oz at 27 weeks. I don't kno what to expect or feel during real labor. I'm sleeping a bit more, I find myself sleeping all type of ways.. I'm just ready but no type of complications have hit me yet. Most say I'm lucky bc of the size of my belly and I have no problems.

I have mild mitral valve prolapse. Have had numerous electrocardiographs, echocardiograms, a stress test, couple of 24 hour monitors. Only thing picked up on ambulatory monitors were premature ventricular contractions. However, when I wasnt wearing the monitor I have had "runs" of missed beats. Also a couple of episodes of runs of misbeats leading to feelings of no blood being pumped to the head, until normal rhythm resumed.

So last week when I was at the doctor and they diagnosed me with preterm labor they basically said that because I have GBS that it could be causing me to have contractions. So they prescribed me amoxicillin on Tuesday. I was on it once before during my pregnancy early on for a UTI but I had extreme morning sickness and don't remember specifics of how I felt when I was on it. My question is, how many ladies have been on it and had trouble sleeping? I seriously cannot sleep after I take it.

So I am having contractions every 15 mins for 1 to 2 mins each. My water still hasn't broke. How long should this go on before my water breaks? I don't think I could do days of these contractions they hurt so bad.

They have natural melatonin in them that can help you relax. Try sleeping upright...pillows can be your best friend! Or try sleeping on your couch if its comfortable.

Hate not being able to sleep no more during the night n during the day I'm super drain n tired

I'm almost sure it's Braxton Hicks but I'm getting these contractions that I can feel from my front to my back. They a little painful but in a deep pressure kind of way. They last a minute but happen every couple minutes. Like I said I'm sure it's Braxton Hicks but I just want a second opinion before I call my OB or head to the hospital.

I'm 40+1 and been having cramps that wrap around me for a few days on and off and every single time I convince myself they're contractions, poof! It's gas! Haha no pun intended! Ive been having contractions for the last 11 hours. Started off 8 mins apart for two hours, then 6 mins apart, and now they are about ten mins apart with the occasional one chucked in after like three mins. I havent slept. Ive called the hospital twice and they said i need to try and sleep. It might be why im not progressing! I've been trying to sleep since yesterday afternoon. Its now 8am! How do you know the difference between contractions and braxton hicks as i am getting cramps and pains in my lower stomach. Sometimes so strong they wake me while im sleeping.

True contractions are not relieved but an 8oz glass of water, resting on your left side for an hour and wake you when you are sleeping. True contractions cause you to make cervical change. I don't know how far along you are. They can feel like a squeezing and then release, can feel like back pain that comes and goes. Regardless, try 8oz glass of water, resting on left side (for good blood flow to baby) and then if it doesn't resolve call your OBGYN office.

thru the night (up once to pee) and sleeping about 9-10hrs with no naps during the day. Now...20 wks...back to crappy sleeps and tired thru the day. Can't get comfy in the night now...belly is too big! Just rest as much as you can...you need it! Building a little person is a lot of work!

My last baby was like this. When my contractions started I layed down on my side to help ease pain. I finally got up during one contraction and stood in my shower....caused my water to break and I was 2 minutes apart from that point on. I was kept at hospital since water broke but it was a long labor. I couldn't get on my knees since I had already been given an epidural. The nurse and I finally took a bed sheet and played tug of war during contractions and baby finally turned.

m 35 weeks 5 days and sleeping is almost impossible. Between back pain and braxton hicks contractions. Its a normal symptom during the 3rd trimester.
