Avatar f tn I may be..but unsure...had a sweep on my due date and im a few cm dilated already, baby's head is ready to go and think i lost the plug but no contractions at all and feel normal otherwise, what's happening to make you think you are in early labour? How far along are you?
Avatar f tn Technically the first stage of labor is all the labor part. Second stage is the pushing. So, I'm guessing you mean when will you know you are in labor, specifically when should you go to the hospital or call your doctor? First stage have a few phases, latent, active and transition.
Avatar f tn What Are The Stages Of Labor .. Do You Just Wake Up One Day With Contractions ? Or Do You Have Pain For About 2 Days Or So ? .. im 37 Weeks & I Dont Feel Nothing , Ill Have Little Pains here & There But I Think Its Because Of Her Being So Low & Kicking .. Because It'll Only Last A second & Its Only When Im In A weird Position.. No Mucus Plug .. No Cramping , Like im Wondering When Things Are Gonna Start Happening & When Should I Stop Working !?
Avatar f tn Oxytocin (the hormone that makes you orgasm) is responsible for contractions when you go into labor. Practice contractions post orgasm are totally normal although not always comfortable! Drink some water and lay down for a while to relax them away.
Avatar f tn Sounds like you're getting very close. When BH contractions are less than 6 minutes apart at any point in pregnancy, then it can lead to labor, especially once you're in your third trimester or at the end of your pregnancy. Since you say they are not painful yet, you are probably only in the very beginning of labor, the first stage.
10219953 tn?1426171839 Oh I know when my 2 other pregnancies Dr's broke my water when I was in the 2nd stage of labor. Iv been stuck in the 1st stage for a month already. So Dr's won't admit me till water breaks or my Contractions get to be more then 10. Trust me on that. So I am a bit more worried if for baby #3 my water breaks say on the couch or bed and the car and how to get that out cause I husband I doubt will clean any of it up.
Avatar f tn But he/she will be there towards the end on stage 1 and throughout stages 2 and 3 of labor. Once stage 3 is complete (birthing the placenta) you are done with labor.
Avatar f tn I want to hear about your labor stories. What happened before you went into labor? Did your water break, bad contractions, bad back pain etc? How long did the symptoms last before you actually went into the hospital? Did you do anything crazy or different that day to bring on labor? Tell me your stories! I'm sure other FTM would love to hear them as well!
Avatar f tn it is for uteran health to strengthen muscles of the uterus. It is said to make contractions during labor more efficient making labor in second stage easier. Also, it supposedly helps uterus contract back down and aids in milk let down. Not sure if this really helped me, but I had two great birthing experiences and felt great afterwards....
Avatar f tn When I was in labor that is what my contractions felt like! But if yours don't then I'm not sure...
10021507 tn?1407285147 I went to hospital the day before having my love and was hooked up to a machine to monitor heartbeat during contractions and there were a few when the nurse asked if i even was feeling the contractions. I did, but one felt like gas and another i thought was baby kicks, so it depends on your body to know.
Avatar n tn yesterday morning.. When will active labor start haha?? ... Im already done the first stage of labor which is having your show and dilating 1-4cm. Active is 5-8cm, so im just walking like crazy today and washed all my floors, just trying to get the real contractions coming!! Feeling do impatient, how much longer will I walk around like this haha.. Anyone else feel like me?
Avatar f tn I'm wondering if you should still feel your baby move during contractions, or do they stay still? Ive been having contractions all day and I can still feel her move but shes a little more quiet than most days. Could it be the calm before the storm?
Avatar f tn I used both with my last pregnancy starting at week 35. I seemed to bounce back really fast...super fast second stage of labor...and no tearing. I'd like to know if anyone else has stories about using these during the last couple wks of pregnancy.
Avatar f tn So i kno tht means baby is dropping... wen should i watch for signs of labor? Nd wut r some signs?
Avatar f tn Sounds like braxton hicks contractions. Your uterus tighten up during those. I've been having them for a while but I'm 36+2 and I started feeling regular contractions around 34 weeks. How many weeks are you?
Avatar f tn I was having 30 second contractions that were 5-10 minutes apart for about 4-5 hours until I took a shower and lay down. The contraction woke me this morning. mom recommends that I rest. I think I should be walking to try and progress things. Who is right?
9807151 tn?1406762059 s back labor or not. I had bad back labor, even after I got the epidural.
Avatar f tn OK well I'm 37+5 and have been constipated for about two weeks give or take. I'll have to have a BM but I can't push it out then twice now.I've almost went on myself randomly just walking. OK well I know Castro Oil is often used to induce labor. I have been experiencing preterm labor and they've even had to stop it three times. Well I've.also read though that it doesn't really work until you're in your 40th week and cervix is already thinning or dilating.
Avatar f tn -( i want my baby to come only after 37 weeks.. my doctor appointment is next week... but till then i dont want to stress myself.. plz help me..
Avatar f tn I imagine that when your pevis is stretching to make room for baby to fit that you could experience hip pain, so Its probably fairly commong during labor as well.
