My 1st pregnancy water broke 1st then contractions. My 2nd pregnancy was tricky haha I had little contractions then my water finally broke.
this might be a weird question but has anyone ever known of labor just being spontaneous or has anyone ever got really nauseous before their labor started like right before?
Felt nauseous all morning and finally threw up at 1. Tried taking a bath before I got sick but its not helping. I am still having contractions maybe 10 minutes apart. Some are stronger then others. I feel lots of pressure but water has not broke and I don't think I have lost my plug. I'm 38&3 weeks. I just can't get over this nauseous feeling...
If you plan to breastfeed then try pumping a couple times a day and store it. If it cause contractions stop asap but some can pump while pregnant with no problem.
I was just wondering if you can have symptoms before your water breaks. I get feelings in my vagina that feel like something is going to come out, or like I'm going to go pee. But I don't. It happens a lot in the bathtub. I'm 1cm dilated, I dunno how much % I'm effaced though. But the last 3 days I've been having NON-consistant contractions, they are every 3-5 minutes, pretty intense. A lot of menstrual cramps, and a lot of cramps in my inner thighs.
Has anyone experienced sudden mood changes like right before going into labor or a few days before going into labor ? I have had pretty balanced hormones through out my pregnancy... not really any crazy like.. o I'm so happy then next minute going all hulk smash you know ? But today.. I am incredibly irritated and everything is getting on my nerves. The smallest little things are pissing me off and I have not had this in my entire pregnancy. I'm 38+5 weeks. And also ...
I've never heard that, to me it sounds your getting sick.
Cramping is normal from here on out. It's your body's way of practicing for your big day, but if they get worse or you see any blood, call your doctor asap. I recently read on my daily updates from What to expect when you're expecting that woman who've already experienced pregnancy tend to feel braxton hicks contractions earlier & more often then woman on their 1st pregnancy.
This is my third and final pregnancy and I am 35 weeks 4 days along. I am going to try pumping for baby as regular breast feeding is not an option. I ordered a medela double electric pump and it should be here within the next 10 days. I am excited to try pumping as I never thoughof this option with my other two. Is it safeto try it out for a few minutes just to see how it works and what it feels like?
Try miralax or colace, those are the 2 my Dr has had me try. I prefer colace since its a pill not a drink mix but it seems to help me out. And your bowels won't always "cleanse" themselves before labor. With my first I was constipated terribly the whole pregnancy all the way through delivery, never had the loose bowels they say you should so don't get concerned if you don't either. Everyone is different. Good luck!
My doctor sent me to the hospital and I had my baby 5 hours later with no contractions that I could feel until an hour before delivery. Needless to say, I am a little nervous about having this baby at home or on the way to the hospital.
Lost bits of mucuous plug for about a week before. Had bad back pain the day before I started having contractions. The day I started having contractions I also felt "blah" as someone said above. I felt 'different' somehow but contractions didn't start until 12 hours after that. Daughter was born 2 days later.

So I've herd so many pregnancy stories about taking a shower & getting pretty when ur having contractions & then go to the hospital & give birth. I wanna do that too bc I wanna get there clean & pretty lol but I'm wondering if anybody has done that when their water breaks??? Or just wen ur having contractions??
How far a long were u guys before you started having braxtion contractions? what did they fell like?
I been have a pain off and on all day. It's just more of a Unncomfortable pain.
About a mnth b4 I went into active labor I lost mucus plug w/out blood. Then a few weeks before, I had loose stools & neasua. Sometimes vomiting. 3 dys before, the mucus plug that continued to kick out turned to old blood. Constant contractions the entire time. At times I would get really weak & tired & @ other times I would get nesting urges. The night before hospital, my contractions became more intense. By 5am, I was in a lot of pain.
