contractions at thirty weeks

I am thirty weeks and five days and I am having really bad period-like cramps, is this normal? What should I do?

So I'm 38 weeks today , I've been having contractions for days and I've been losing my "Mucus Plug" for about a week now. My contractions aren't that close together but they are intense. Most times I cannot move either due to my siatic nerves. What should I do if I can't move and have constant pain ?

I was thirty six weeks when I finally had her and that was only because I started more contractions with castor oil. I assume you should be fine to at least make it to thirty six to thirty seven weeks with no problem if you are careful and go to the hospital if you start having regular contractions.

My safe time is not coming up fast enough. I need thirty seven weeks to get here so I can deliver. I have been having contractions and stuff like I am ready but need to be at least thirty six weeks to even deliver in town if not I got to travel a hundred miles with no transportation to a hospital that will deliver baby. At 37 I can deliver at birthing center that we planned. Time is flying though but I am just nervous for another two and a half weeks till my safety point.

I had my son at 37 weeks. I was at 2cm for over a week and at my second appointment when he checked me I was still at a 2. The next day around 1pm I started spotting and having contractions. Went to the hospital at 7 that night and I was at 4cm. Left that hospital and drove to the next town 30 minutes away (got there way quicker since my husband was scared) and when I got there I was at 6cm and in full labor. Had hin the next morning.

So around 1 the contractions got intense but I kept breathing thru it. I went from a 6 to a 9 in thirty minutes and had to wait on my Dr to start pushing. I pushed for ten minutes. I have to admit natural is way better than an epidural birth. I can say I had both now.

If your doctor has experience with it they usually do it around thirty eight or thirty nine weeks. You have to go to the hospital to get it done as it can send you immediately into labor, successful or not. My friend had a breech baby. She tried the version, knowing if it didn't work she'd have a c section. She said it was horribly painful and that she wished she'd been able to have the epidural for it!

Last night at work I started to hurting. But it was like menstrual cramp. It last four thirty minutes but then it went away. I'm 36 weeks, wat does this mean?

Puta towel underneath yyou and either sit with your feet up or lay on your side with a pillow under your hip. Do that for at LEAST thirty minutes. This would allow water to collect if it is your water. After thirty minutes stand up and see if anything runs DOWN YOUR LEG. if nothing drips down your leg then its likely not your water.

Not sure if this is the real deal. I know I'm having contractions right now. Have been since five thirty today (it's nine right now making that the and a half hours).I can't seem to time them because it seems constant. They always hurt bad, some moments worse than others, but I can't distinguish a starting and stopping point. Any suggestions?

Hi...another stupid question..... what do contractions feel like....

Walking, going up stairs, raspberry leaf tea, sex. Done people don't recommend castor oil. I'm at 38 +1 weeks and my bhs had stopped and yesterday i went to the mall for about two hours to walk around.

im thirty six weeks and my dr said he would do that at thirty seven and im a one also so not sure why dr wouldnt

Had a show but now nothing or no contractions. Pregnancies arent overdue until over 42 weeks...I guess it would just be good if they came now so we dont have to be induced! I have my induction booked for Tuesday..and so hope he comes before then. Have you an induction booked?

My water broke at thirty nine weeks on the dot. But I had absolutely no signs of labor besides that. No contractions, no nausea or diarrhea, nothing. Even once my water broke I didn't contact on my own.

I found out today....that i was 4cm..at 11am. Im 39 weeks. I went to er...because of constant b.hicks.. And they sent me home with no explanation..

At least you can get hopeful! I still have 5 more weeks... but at my next appointment I'm going to ask about self induction and see what my doc says since I'll be 36weeks then. Good luck mama!

t moving and I had this bad feeling (36+4). Well they hooked me up to the monitors and I guess it picked up contractions I didnt feel yet I wasn't dilating. But her heart rate was dropping with each contraction. So the doc came in quick with an ultrasound and said she had thirty minutes to meet certain criteria (certain number of movement's, see lungs moving, heart rate, fluid, etc). I swear this little girl refused to move until the last 30 seconds of her thirty minute timeline.

I'm getting contractions about every two mins lasting about thirty seconds each, after having intercourse, sorry tmi, they are painful but not unbearable, is this false labor? When should I can't doctor?
