I got them this past week at 30 weeks to and it was from dehydration. I would talk to your doctor though. Hopefully that's all it is.

Is it normal to be having lower back pressure as well as lower abdominal pressure at 30 weeks? For any of those who responded to my post yesterday about the contractions about 15 min apart, I never was able to reach my doctor and am still having them. I havnt tried to call my doc because I am beginning to feel like a hypocondraic. What should I do?

Anyone else been told that your cervix was softened at 30 weeks? Since 28 weeks I've been experiencing a lot More Braxton Hicks but getting them more often now that I'm further along. I'm not too worried cause when I told my doctor he said as long as I'm not expecting an actual contraction I should be okay (hardening allover the stomach rather than in one spot). Just curious if anyone else has this problem and ended up having a normal term pregnancy.

What do you ladies think last night around 8ish I started getting some pretty bad contractions for about 15 min & than again at 5 this morning for like 30 min & now it's 930 & I woke up with them again , is there something wrong what should I do ?? I'm a ftm & my mom told me I'm having labor pains what does that mean does that mean I'll be going into labor soon I'm freaking out I keep getting small contractions rite now it hurts so bad Someone help please !

You're only 30 weeks. If you're experiencing regular contractions (more than 6 in an hour) then absolutely you should go in. Your baby still has a lot of developing to do before he/she will be safe to be born.

So I'm about 30 weeks pregnant. At my 27 week check up baby measured 29 weeks. I've been in L&D twice for contractions and been on bed rest for over a month to prevent preterm labor. I have contractions every day but they eventually space out or go away and I've just learned to live with then because going in to the ER will only send me home hours later. My cervix is 1.5cm dilated and all day today I think I've been losing my mucus plug.

Im 30 weeks and i feel so bad my stomach is paining anywhere and its so hard also sames like my symptoms of food is come back like i cant smell any food and also troubles to sleeping last night i just sleep for 1 hours or less the pain is not that too much but its enough to make me uncomfortable. I'm 30 weeks an have been having contractions only thing is I know I'm not dehydrated I drink plenty water juice all that good stuff.

m currently 30+4 baby measuring 31+6 so is it normal to have contractions at this point? I had to have a steroid shot at 27 weeks to close up my cervix I was 3 cm dilated, it only took me back down to a 2. Could he be coming or just playing games with his extremely excited parents emotions?

Id go get checked..i had the same problem at 34 weeks and was already dilated to 1cm and 30%...i went back yesterday bc of the same issue now at 36 weeks and im now 2 1/2 and 70%...this is my 3rd and the only one ive dilated w at all... Dr doesn't think i will make it through the weekend..

I started getting them at 20 weeks too i read that they can start as early as 16 weeks don't worry okay :)

How many other mums are around 30 weeks. I am sooo excited for these last 10 weeks although i have had such an easy pregnancy. We just want to meet our baby girl!!

I am 30 weeks and 5 days i have been having preterm contractions since 22weeks, so bad that the terbutaline shots did not work and they sent me home on Procardia XL and bedrest. The contractions are still ongoing and we have yet to figure out why as i see my OBGYN weekly to keep track of my contractions and my shortening cervix which has been at a stable 80% for about a month.

You can be dilated 1-2cm for weeks. But I was told when I was 35 weeks I was prematurely opened so your prematurely dilated for sure. Just keep your eyes peeled for signs of labor.
