Avatar n tn But as stated by another your Center of balance will change as your belly grows so you may need to alter certain job responsibilities as needed. But I too would talk with my doctor about other possible safety issues as well as my immediate supervisor.
Avatar m tn With regards to asbestos exposure, he should discuss the situation with other employees, his employee health and safety representative, and his employers. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) can provide more information or make an inspection. 152660 tn?1291755571 Hi All! We are getting ready to begin finishing my parent's basement into an apartment for myself. We will be doing most of the work ourselves mainly during weekends and will have someone coming in to work on the floor who will be using jackhammers for probably 2 days then put in two egress windows. We will have a plumber and electrician come in to work too. We will probably have people in for 6-7 days at once and then plumber and electrician do more later.
148588 tn?1465778809 economy, creating 20,000 direct construction and manufac-turing jobs and 119,000 indirect jobs. Cornell Global Labor Institute’s (GLI) analysis of the project has found that these numbers are unsubstantiated, and that the project will produce far fewer jobs than they claim. In fact, the construction of KXL may destroy more jobs than it creates." "KXL’s U.S. Project Budget is $3.3 billion, NOT $7 billion: TransCanada claims that KXL is a $7 billion project.
Avatar n tn Pus means there is an infection, and at this point I would see your doctor. You may have something embedded in your knee that you know nothing about, and until that is removed it will stay infected. A friend of mine woke up with extreme pain on one side of his stomach and when he went to the hospital they found a piece of metal embedded in his stomach. He was in construction years prior to this and still doesn't recall any incident where this could have happened.
Avatar f tn I have already have mother in law issues. But omg! On the other hand, my mother is like bipolar or something. Ok, all this started a week ago. I have been going home and staying there by my father's request. My father is really excited and it seems he has to tell my mother to get baby clothes or to help with what I need. My mother... she asks for the money back or some sort of payment back.I don't need their help.
190885 tn?1333025891 i know this is tough to answer cause everyone is different while tx but are some of you folks in construction...doing high work with power tools..building houses?? ...thanks....
Avatar f tn T allow them to be in proximity of the baby. I would just have to be as blunt and honest about things as possible to ensure the safety of my baby. Good luck and best wishes.
Avatar n tn Okay so my boyfriend is in school right now for construction and said he wants to build her crib himself... I really dont know what to think of it. I trust him i know that he could do it but idk if that would exactly be the best option.. What do you ladies think? Would you let him do it or go out and just buy one from the store?
Avatar f tn Hi SassieLassie Thank you for your response and concern. I went to see my GP and they said everything is now fine and it's just my lymph tissue in the throat coming up after the virus as I have no tonsils.
Avatar f tn He works at a construction supply company... inside a warehouse that has ac... so i wouldnt think he sweats that much, and he usually gets off at 3-4 on his pay days ... but lately hes been getting off around 5-6 and comes in and showers right away... and they dont have uniforms but he usually wears old clothes to work in but lately hes been wearing nice clothes to work in?
Avatar f tn Yesterday construction workers started working with our bicyclecellar and it seems there have been asbestos because there is a sign for it. Now I'm concerned of my health especially of my lungs because I've been going there time to time for the past 19 years. Should I be concerned?
Avatar m tn Well, I am guessing here, but my guess is you are in construction of some sort, either building construction or road construction. I know MN has two main seasons, winter and construction, especially road construction. I mention that because being able to work often depends on the type of work one does. Desk jobs and less physically demanding jobs are a lot easier to do on treatment than are physically highly demanding jobs or precision jobs.
1301089 tn?1290666571 Isn't this nice! We're giving those dear little drug smugglers and murderers their own park. Never mind it's American National Parkland. Funded and paid for with American tax money. I guess actually guarding it with armed Guardsmen might insult someone.
Avatar f tn I'm 22 and my baby daddy is 20 and he works 6 days a week in construction. Him and I aren't together, but I can count on him if I need anything at all. He doesn't go to the appointments because he's usually gone with his work. He doesn't have a car and I do so I drive him to and from work while he pays for gas. I understand you may love you, but do you want that influence on your baby?
Avatar f tn I had a friend who dressed as a construction worker ( hard hat, neon safety vest) and she painted a stop sign on her tummy that said "caution BUMP" I thought it was super cute.
Avatar f tn File a complaint with OSHA they protect any employee who fears for their safety, i work in HR for a company and as managers they shouldve taken immediate action. Dont let this go for your safety and your baby.
203342 tn?1328737207 I'm in day three of a bad headache. I've had these type headaches before and am assuming it's a tension headache. It starts in the back and moves around to the front and affects my eyes (my eyes hurt). It feels like my head is in a vice grip. I have no energy. I've gone to the doctor a couple of times over the last year or so about these headaches but for the most part try to just deal with them myself.
Avatar m tn I’m concerned about exposure to construction dust leading to silicosis. I work in a theater that’s been under construction for a few months. They are installing new stadiums and seats. I know they are drilling/jackhammering concrete, mixing concrete and other general construction tasks like that. I try to be careful to avoid the areas where the construction is heaviest but some times my tasks force me to move through them.
Avatar f tn Well, Im at work at the moment. There's a TON of construction noise outside. For some reason, I'm feeling... nauseous? A strange, vague sensation of nausea. I'm not quite sure where it came from. Is this normal for dysautonomia? I know I have NCS, but I didn't know noise could cause nausea, either. Has something like this happened to any of you?
