Avatar n tn Pus means there is an infection, and at this point I would see your doctor. You may have something embedded in your knee that you know nothing about, and until that is removed it will stay infected. A friend of mine woke up with extreme pain on one side of his stomach and when he went to the hospital they found a piece of metal embedded in his stomach. He was in construction years prior to this and still doesn't recall any incident where this could have happened.

Avatar f tn I even tried to put on goggles the other day but the fumes inside of the goggles irritated my eyes- I had to take them off and rinse them. This led me to feel concerned for vision loss further. I don't know what chemicals were in the goggles that caused my eyes to feel irritated once my goggles started to fog up in the shower. I don't swim. These goggles have never been in chlorine. Thank you for taking the time to read this and helping me have clarity.

Avatar f tn I agree that glasses for safety is a good idea. Also your whole family needs to think eye safety. She needs to avoid things that carry a risk of eye injury as the biggest risk to her good eye is trauma. Thus avoid lawmowers, weed-eaters, power tools, firecrackers, contact sports, etc. If she make a decesion that she is going to play contact sports or racquet sports she needs protective sports goggles.

Avatar n tn I have to admit, as much effort as i put into good technique and safety, about 2-3 times a year i take a good fall (while riding about 6-12 miles an hour), and sometimes i land on a rocky surface. I wear an expensive top of the line full face helmet, goggles or sunglasses and lots of padding in all of the crucial places people tend to land (shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, hands, shins), but still there is a moment of impact.
