Avatar f tn I had a complete blood count with differential yesterday that showed normal values for all ranges. Is this sufficient to show no HIV or is that a separate test?
Avatar f tn I was wondering if anyone has had several CBC's and had slightly elevated white blood count? The last 3-4 times in which I've had a complete blood count they notice that it's elevated but not to the point where it becomes a concern ( so the doctor says) but I still find it strange.

I APPROCHED DOCTORS THEY ASKED ME TO TAKE COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT TEST.IN THAT TEST THE ESNOPHILIA WAS MORE THAN THE PRESCRIBED LIMIT AND THE ESR WAS ALSO HIGH. THEN THE DOCTOR SUGGESTED FOR MANTOUX TEST , AND THE SAME SHOWED NEGATIVE RESULT. THEN X RAY WAS ALSO ADVISED TO TAKE. IN XRAY THERE WAS PROBLEM NOT AMOUNTING TO TB OR ASHTHAMA. SIR PLEASE GUIDE ME WHOM SHALL I APPROACH TO SAVE MY CHILD FROM CONTINOUS COUGH SATE OF AFFAIRS.

I got a copy of the report CLYMPH 68% CMONO 19% CPOLY 13% CRBC 117 / cu mm CWBC 3 / cu mm Clear, colorless CGLUCO 65mg CPROT 47mg Any idea, why I have 13% poly? I though there should be none? Dosent this mean that soemthing is going on? Also 117, on RBC, I though that should be 0 too? All VDRL, afb culture, cryptococcal ag, gram stain, culture were all negative.
Avatar m tn Hi my question is can you have a lowered white blood cell count from 1 binge night of drinking. I am not a person who drinks regularly but when I do drink I don't stop. This past Sat I have no idea how much i had to drink. I was very hung over the next day then the next day and still sick on the 3rd day by day 4 I decided to go into the ER. They found the following: Neutrophil 1.5, lemphocyte 1.1 leukocyte 3.0 monocyte0.1. So most of my white blood cells were low.

Urine sample and CT scan came back fine but they said my white blood cell count was high from the blood work. Their diagnosis was prostatits but couldn't say for sure. Any ideas? I am in pain.
Avatar n tn Are there any other signs or symptoms present? Chest x-ray, complete blood count and complete medical and physical examination is needed to help with the diagnosis. It would be best to see your doctor to rule out any differentials and to reach a complete diagnosis. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn Normally simple blood tests results like hemogram, total cell count, complete blood checkup, blood sugar, electrolytes etc are available the same day. Some times the tests are done and the report not uploaded on the computer due to technical delays. So if you do not get them by tomorrow, yes, definitely follow this up. Hope this helps. Take care!

After test my Platelet count is 2.8 Lakhs and TC is 4400 CELLE/CUMS. He checked the test result and retest after two days. He said that PC and TC level are low. May be Dengue/Viral fever. Can u advice me?

Everything was normal with the red cells, but the white cells were low (4090/mm3) and there were more leucocytes (2740/mm3) than neutrophils (920/mm3). She asked me about HIV and I replied her that I have been tested twice.

Avatar m tn What symptoms do you have? Looking at your labs, I'd say you need an increase in Synthroid. Do you have Hashimoto's? Type II diabetic on metformin. I don't understand the calculation for the blood sugar (?) i.e "5.5 means X 18 =95". Please explain that. I'm in the U.S and we might have different ways to calculate blood sugar levels.
Avatar m tn A complete blood count may not help with the exact diagnosis but this may help guide your physician determine the most likely cause of the rash (on whether bacterial or viral) . If there is no associated fever, pain in swallowing, eye tearing and redness ,then this may not be something urgent.Just note any change in your daughter's symptoms. How is your son?
