Common Questions and Answers about Complaining your employer

complaining

Avatar f tn When and how did you tell your employer that you were expecting.....and what was there reactions? ????
Avatar f tn I guess it depends on your job. I had to tell mine early because I work in law enforcement, so taking hits is a bad idea. If you don't work in a job that can be physically harmful, you can probably tell them when you want.
Avatar f tn At least in the US, you have no obliagtion to discuss your health with your employer, nor may your employer question you during the hiring process or otherwise. If a problem is evident that keeps you from fulfilling your duties, that's when some talking is in order. Since you have no diagnosis and only suspicions about what is wrong, you would be very wise to say nothing to anyone at work. Check the Health Pages for a lot of legal info that should be of help.
Avatar n tn Depending on your job and position FMLA - your doctor - and your employer may be able to work out a situation of reduced work load. Can you go part time? Limit some responsibilities? etc. Take into consideration your health and how you want to handle it. I gave 110% in everything while I was "somewhat" ill for the same reasons I think you are doing. Eventually I got so sick the bottom fell out under me. Yep - lost that job I had and everything.
Avatar f tn I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!
Avatar f tn How long after you found out you were pregnant did you tell your employer. I work at a gas station and worry about doing something aft work like lifting and miscarring.
Avatar f tn Its so funny how you get pregnant, but it doesn't seem like your the one who's pregnant....your other half has all the symptoms. The food cravings, sickness, tired, my back hurts, will you rub me, you don't understand. Lol I laugh at my husband. I didn't know you could be pregnant, maybe I should be the man. Men, always complaining. Anyone else can relate?
589695 tn?1218977271 I took the letter my family doctor wrote back to him because the wording would have had my employer lawyering up in a heart-beat. I requested that one paragraph be removed and that I have it back by the end of the day. They said they would take care of it and have it by 6:30 - that never happened, so tomorrow I will be walking right back into a hornets nest. I'm really frustrated right now and on the verge of resigning from my job. That's all I have for tonight.
Avatar f tn He is creating a hostile work environment and you can report him to HR , your employer should dpi something about it rather than worry about a potential law suit.
Avatar f tn I told my employer and they dropped my hours. I have had these hours for almost a year..
206807 tn?1331936184 The Obama administration had been absorbing constant political attacks about the so-called job-killing nature of Obamacare, with its complex employer reporting requirements and fines for large companies that don't offer their workers insurance. But when it announced Tuesday that it would delay implementation of the employer mandate to give businesses more time to prepare, the attack lines simply shifted from arguments about policy merit to those about the administration's competence.
3182438 tn?1359489871 I had the same thing! My doc said saline nasal spray for your nose, honey/lemon tea for your throat. If that doesn't help, he suggested Cepacol (and only that kind of lozenge) for the throat -safe for baby. A humidifier with the Vicks drops could help too. Good Luck!! Hope you both feel better fast!
5509293 tn?1428531475 It very much depends on your relationship with your employer - are they supportive, do you trust them, etc - and whether you are requesting some sort of specific accommodation, eg: reduced/flexible hours, more breaks, different work assignment. If the fatigue and cognitive issues aren't ongoing, I would put it behind you and focus on maintaining good performance with those symptoms under control.
8255052 tn?1399861806 Girl I feel your pain! I feel the EXACT same way! I'm so sad about this weight gain I'm only 5.5 months and the weight I'm at now I was full term with my other 2 pregnancies I feel disgusting!
Avatar f tn I'm 18 weeks and have been having a tough time with my employer. I'm privately employed for a disabled man, I'm his caretaker. I have special restrictions from my doctor (even took him the doctors note) that I am not supposed to be lifting due to a subchorionic hemorrhage and now in recent events the baby putting pressure on my sciatic nerve causing back pain. He has not followed any papers brought into him.
2166701 tn?1358365167 It will depend on your employer. You would have to ask them. Most disability plans dont cover maternity leave.
Avatar f tn So since I found out I was pregnant I've been looking on craigslist and eBay to help me find used baby things to buy for the baby, we're on a budget but I want to be able to get my baby what he needs without depending on other people and ever since I started doing that my bf has been complaining.
