Put a loose rubber band around your
wrist and every time you feel like cutting, snap the rubber
band on your
wrist. It really can help and it won't hurt you!
When the urge to cut overcomes you, get out of the house, go for a walk, call a friend, do something proactive. If you have to do this over and over then do so.
Take a hot bubble bath or hot shower.
Exercise (also falls under going out for a walk)
Start journaling and writing down all your thoughts, frustrations, etc.
