Avatar f tn Ok so curiosity got to me... so i looked up united and american airline. American Airlines restrictions start only 7 days before due date. United is 30 days.
Avatar n tn I was a business traveler and have earned a life time Platinum status with Continental (United) Airlines, and many miles on other airlines around the world. Well enough bragging about what I have subjected my body too, I am not aware of any heart problems from flying. I now fly only a couple of times a year and I am now in permanent AFib. Hum, wonder if there is a correlation - ouch! I think not.
Avatar f tn I had a job that I wanted to keep that involved international travel, I have over a million miles on United Airlines - and while never totally comfortable I was able to travel and sleep on long flights - my biggest problem with air travel is the size of the coach seat, I'm a big guy, on a very tall frame. Apnea is dangerous, I hope the bed arrangement reduces your risk.
172023 tn?1334672284 I'm quite unhappy with the airlines as well. I've always flown United since my father works for United and I want to support his company. But I absolutely hate the idea of paying $15 for your first checked bag. This just encourages everybody to start taking their bags on the plane, which slows down boarding, and increases delays. My boyfriend had to check his bag because of a shoulder injury that prevents him from lifting the bag into the overhead compartment.
116881 tn?1189755823 I have had Atrial Fibrillation for more than 10 years. I have over 1 million miles recorded with United Airlines. I never found flying, sometimes over 12 hours, to cause any increase in my heart symptoms.

Avatar f tn She vehemently rejected assertions of child abandonment by Russian authorities, saying he was watched over by a United Airlines stewardess and the family paid a man $200 to pick the boy up at the Moscow airport and take him to the Russian Education and Science Ministry. Nancy Hansen said a social worker checked on the boy in January and reported to Russian authorities that there were no problems.
Avatar f tn Everything I've read online says if it is a healthy pregnancy you can fly up to 36 weeks! However, some airlines don't allow it or require doctors notes. Baby center has a great post about this where they list which airlines need what! My doctor reiterated what I read online & at 30 weeks I will be flying 3.5 hrs. Stay hydrated, eat well, get up a lot (aisle seat if possible) & get circulation panty hose!
172023 tn?1334672284 A huge relief for pet people everywhere, the introduction of this much-needed airline will help reduce the number of pets injured, lost (and worse) on airlines and our big dogs now have alternatives. Currently, any pet too big to sleep under the cabin seat must be shipped as cargo (and are likely treated accordingly). And pet cargo travel is not even available when outside temperatures are below 45 or above 85 degrees.
Avatar f tn At San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Frontier Airlines is based out of Terminal 1, sometimes referred to as Boarding Area C. This terminal, which houses several airlines and provides a range of amenities and services for travellers, is located on the far left side of the airport. When flying with Frontier Airlines out of SFO Terminal 1, travellers may easily access retail establishments, food options, lounges, security checks, and check-in counters.
Avatar n tn I have travelled to and from California from Oregon with cats, and the airlines require a health certificate from the vet but there is no quarantine. However, this is from state to state within the United States, there is the possibility that regulations would be more strict internationally although I can hardly believe it would be true when the cat originates in England where the quarantine laws are so stringent.
Avatar f tn But my doctor had to check me right before and give a note. She only approved bc we had to relocate for a job and they told him he had to come then or the offer was off the table. I would not fly that late unless absolutely necessary.
Avatar f tn I've read recently that some airlines have removed the restrictions...if check first with your provider and then with a go ahead from then, I'd check with the individual airlines to see what the real restrictions are...and if there's any extra steps you need to go through.

Avatar f tn I flew at 26w the airlines told me to just bring a doctors note proving how far along I was. I did get a terrible bloody nose on the plane though.
Avatar f tn Just had to go through this. 99% of airlines need a doctor approval of great health after 26 weeks.
Avatar f tn Airlines have their own flight restrictions for pregnant women, which can vary according to whether you are flying domestically or internationally and which airline you will be flying. Some airlines won’t allow you to travel for 30 days before your due date, while others won’t let you on board if your due date is less than seven days away." So check with your doctor ...check with the airline.
