Avatar f tn Everything I've read online says if it is a healthy pregnancy you can fly up to 36 weeks! However, some airlines don't allow it or require doctors notes. Baby center has a great post about this where they list which airlines need what! My doctor reiterated what I read online & at 30 weeks I will be flying 3.5 hrs. Stay hydrated, eat well, get up a lot (aisle seat if possible) & get circulation panty hose!
172023 tn?1334672284 A huge relief for pet people everywhere, the introduction of this much-needed airline will help reduce the number of pets injured, lost (and worse) on airlines and our big dogs now have alternatives. Currently, any pet too big to sleep under the cabin seat must be shipped as cargo (and are likely treated accordingly). And pet cargo travel is not even available when outside temperatures are below 45 or above 85 degrees.
Avatar f tn At San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Frontier Airlines is based out of Terminal 1, sometimes referred to as Boarding Area C. This terminal, which houses several airlines and provides a range of amenities and services for travellers, is located on the far left side of the airport. When flying with Frontier Airlines out of SFO Terminal 1, travellers may easily access retail establishments, food options, lounges, security checks, and check-in counters.
Avatar f tn But my doctor had to check me right before and give a note. She only approved bc we had to relocate for a job and they told him he had to come then or the offer was off the table. I would not fly that late unless absolutely necessary.
Avatar f tn I've read recently that some airlines have removed the restrictions...if check first with your provider and then with a go ahead from then, I'd check with the individual airlines to see what the real restrictions are...and if there's any extra steps you need to go through.

1080032 tn?1326414386 I live in Baltimore and will be flying to the Hamptons( long island) which is a very short flight. Is it safe to fly? I am going July 22nd and will be just turning 32 weeks. My doctor has said it is ok and airlines just usually don't like it.. But want everyone's opinion.
Avatar f tn s no need to be rude some people have no one to talk to but the girls on here. Like myself.
Avatar f tn I flew at 26w the airlines told me to just bring a doctors note proving how far along I was. I did get a terrible bloody nose on the plane though.
Avatar f tn Just had to go through this. 99% of airlines need a doctor approval of great health after 26 weeks.
Avatar f tn Airlines have their own flight restrictions for pregnant women, which can vary according to whether you are flying domestically or internationally and which airline you will be flying. Some airlines won’t allow you to travel for 30 days before your due date, while others won’t let you on board if your due date is less than seven days away." So check with your doctor ...check with the airline.
Avatar f tn i think..you will need a fitness certiicate rn your ob...
Avatar n tn Hi ladies, I am 30 weeks now, is it safe to travel long distances?
Avatar n tn i think most airlines have a cut off point of 36 weeks, but you will need to check with the airline you want to travel with what their policy on it is
Avatar f tn I heard some airlines don't allow u to fly past 35 weeks and if u are in a car u should get out and stretch ur legs every two hours to prevent blood clots
Avatar f tn My duedate is march 5th..i want to take 4 hrs flight to my homecountry on feb 9th..is it ok or no??
Avatar f tn You can fly up until 34 weeks with most airlines. After 28 weeks, some airlines require a doctor's note to confirm that you are having a normal pregnancy and to confirm your due date. I just flew back from Africa (to Canada) with British airways at 28 weeks and I didn't need to show my note, but was glad to have it in case they asked. I'm not so huge looking so they couldn't tell how far I was, I guess.
Avatar f tn t do 8hrs that far on just in case.
720688 tn?1237311532 t want to be doing too much traveling that late in pregnancy. Talk to your dr. Mine told me by law they have to tell you not to travel away from their office within a certain time. No matter what you do talk to your dr. first. And again, Congrats, I know how excited we are and I am sure you are feeling the same!
Avatar f tn I brought a doctors note and my doctor made sure I wasnt about to go into labor. I flew Alaskan airlines and they never even asked for the note. They are thw most family friendly in my experience.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had to find a private flight to get to your hospital when called that an organ was available?? We are in that position. We live in L.V., NV., and will have to get to Omaha NE. when called. We can't use the airlines, and we can't move there. I have started contacting people, and I have contacted some of the "mercy" flights, but they don't have anything guaranteed that could get us there in the 4-6 hours we will have. Anyone been in this position??
Avatar f tn Not here to argue with your doctor who ran the tests, but you sound more like a minor rather than "highly" allergic. Still if your tongue itch why take a chance. I enjoy nuts, and I think most of then are healthy food if we don't have an allergy.
