I cast out an artificial worm, let it sink, and began working it slowly toward the boat. Then, something caught my eye. It was a young Fox
squirrel cautiously making its way over a limb that extended just above the water. My gaze shifted down to the end of the limb to see what the squirrel was after. It looked to be a large pecan. I continued to watch in amusement. The squirrel reached the pecan and began cracking and eating it.
