Complaining kindergarten

Common Questions and Answers about Complaining kindergarten

complaining

Avatar f tn I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!
Avatar f tn If he is fine in after school and fine at home-- then its just this class. 8 kids and the kindergarten teacher is complaining? Sounds inexperienced to me--- that kind of ratio is a dream ratio, even in private school!!!! Your son is smart and bored and 5 -- sounds totally normal to me. You should ask the principal to either move him to another K class at the school, or at this point, consider another school.
Avatar n tn my daughter is 4 years old her date of birth is sep 10 04 can i send her to kindergarten next year not this year because she did not go to preschool and i think that she is not ready to go this year
Avatar f tn My son has hated school since the 1st week of Jr kindergarten when he was sent to the office for "hugging" another child. He is an only child and stay at home till school age. He had behaved poorly when tired and if got awoken when sleeping he would turned into a stranger - like he was possessed by demons. I had him checked by a Pediatrician before school started and she said he was fine - he didn't show signs of adhd etc.

Avatar f tn hello my dear, i dont know exactly what would be the correct age for a child to go into a kindergarten level..in our school here..the curriculum started at nursery, kinder, and preparatory..followed by grade 1 until grade 6..4 years high school then college.. the school opening started june and ended during march or april.. since this is the first time that my son will go to school... the school evaluated him and was classified in kindergarten..he turned 4 last april..

Avatar n tn I have a wonderful fun loving 5 year old who has had some problems in the last 12 months with VPK and now kindergarten. I consider myself a child professional yet I cannot find the solution. Today I get an email from his K teacher stating that my son is having problems folloeing directions in class and is annoying his class mates. He also tried to leave school as a walker today and he is a bus rider. More to the point he tried to convince a second teacher that he was a walker.
Avatar n tn From starting the school, I got several calls from his teacher complaining about his emotional control and behavior issue. Teacher stated that he often tantrums (crying and running away) when he did not get his own way. She was afraid this kind of behavior will impact on his ability of learning and friendship developing. However, I do not receive the same complaint from other activities (preschool, after school, chinese school and karate) he participates.
Avatar f tn So since I found out I was pregnant I've been looking on craigslist and eBay to help me find used baby things to buy for the baby, we're on a budget but I want to be able to get my baby what he needs without depending on other people and ever since I started doing that my bf has been complaining.
Avatar f tn Each following the pediatricians recommendation. He then failed the schools eye exam in Kindergarten 5 months after we saw the eye doctor, and I took the note, and him back to see her. She did another eye exam and gave him a prescription of +2.25 in both eyes. We got his glasses, and he was complaining that they made his eyes water.
Avatar f tn My son will be six on the 28th of this month and has recently started Kindergarten. The Kindergarten experience has turned into a nightmare for me. We cannot go a day without a negative report from his teacher - he refuses to listen, disrupts the class, takes down things hanging on walls, bulletin boards, etc.., and has just yesterday cut a classmates hair.
Avatar n tn He has been in a school environment since he was three and is now in Kindergarten and an afterschool program. At one point, I could have called him the perfect child behaviorally, well mannered, smart, kind, had lots of friends, etc. Within the last year I have noticed some real changes, he lacks confidence and is very sensitive, is very hard on himself, and sometimes exhibits high anxiety.
Avatar m tn Hi I have posted some earlier problems regarding my son in kindergarten. His teacher is quite critical of him in the classroom, says that he does not pay attention and cannot work independantly. I have been lucky enough to help out in the classroom and observe him at the same time. He can be a little inattentive but is quiet and competes the work if it is of interest to him. His teacher rarely gives him any praise for good behaviour or work,, but will give certain other kids praise all the time.
Avatar m tn Well, one of the kids just did not work out in one of the kindergarten classes-- it just did not work. This K teacher was the same teacher of all prior 6 kids in this family had for K-- but this last one, well-- nope. Not a bad kid, not a bad teacher-- just a bad fit, apparently. You know what? He was moved to another class room in April of the school year-- based on agreement with the principal. It worked out fine. Things improved for the child very quickly.
Avatar m tn My daughter has suffered this past year from sensory issues--her clothes don't feel good. We can go days where we can't leave the house because nothing feels good to wear. She was in preschool and i was at home with her so when push came to shove we didn't have to do things most days. I ended up correlating the sensory issue with ear infections. we would treat the ears and she would be back to a happy kid.
