Boys have so much pride! I suggest letting him buy a few things. And the more expensive things buy used. Explain to him and try to see his side as well. If he still gets mad I would personally keep buying them because you know in the long run it'll be best. Show him why it's best to buy used-like go shopping with him and let him see how expensive the crib and stroller is haha!!

t stressed enough about having to pay for it, I got a bill yesterday from the hospital for the thyroid sonogram (which by the way came back completely normal) for $600. This blows. I just don't want to spend this kindof money on these things. I like to hord my money and spend it on fun things. LOL.

Mine lasted for 3 days. I felt like i was dying and my fiance told me to relax and i broke down crying. I went to L&d and they were like you should not be having these contractions this bad. I only slept for 3 hours in 3 days :(They gave me pain meds and an iv to keep me from becoming dehydrated from throwing up. It was terrible :( that pain meds kicked the pains butt lol. I hope it doesn't return.

I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!

This will be a good test of self-discipline for me, and a break not just for me but for those around me who are probably sick of hearing the constant play by play. Wish me luck.

I had the same thing! My doc said saline nasal spray for your nose, honey/lemon tea for your throat. If that doesn't help, he suggested Cepacol (and only that kind of lozenge) for the throat -safe for baby. A humidifier with the Vicks drops could help too. Good Luck!! yesterday was not a good day for me...got lost taking my furkid to get groomed and than i tried to do to much and oh am i paying for it...than i signed the g'kids permission slips for school and on the second one i caught that i had dated it for 2002 oh my!!!!! did that on both of them...whew and than hurt so bad last nite that i fell asleep in recliner and hubby didnt come see if i was up because i never sleep long and he thought i was up so had to run g'kids to school in a hurry...

-) I hope you are able to rest and recover for the remainder of the weekend! Yay for the mixed blessing of having more work to do. It is hard for the body but nice for the wallet! Rest, rest, rest! Monday comes way too quickly!

I can hardly sleep, it hurts when I stand for to long. Ugh this girl just has it out for me.

m not as big as i was the first time cause i was 300 lbs when i got pregnant with my first and after her i lost 140 lbs and for the first time i felt amazing and was working out and living my life the way i should... but i got convinced to try for a boy and now bby girl #2 is coming I'm only 23.3wks now and really feeling upset i told my self i would never feel fat or unhappy again and sure enough that's what I've done!

I know how you feel! It's been in the 95-100s for the past few weeks and isn't getting any cooler and I am miserable.

I guess I just need to complain for a moment. Over the past week I've had terrible fatigue. My legs are heavy and my left one is weaker than usual. My brain won't work -- I can't even read the newspaper (I keep stopping half-way through the articles). My words keep getting reversed (the kids think it's funny) and I just can't *focus*. I know a lot of these things can be directly attributed to the fatigue, but I can't seem to get rid of the fatigue.

People don't really use the registry; they usually buy what they want. I did register at Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby and Target to get the coupons. My cousin still gets coupons after her registry and her baby is 14 months. I think out of my 3 registeres I got 4 gifts total off of them! So, maybe register at one place but don't get your hopes up on getting the items you pick.

I was going about my day as normal today, when a text comes from a friend complaining about her period. I console her and tell her to take some medicine, stuff like that. Well, then I realize that I have not had a period since late March to early April of this year. I had taken a pregnancy test in about May when I realized that I was indeed late and the results were negative. However, I'm now worried because I still haven't had a period to date.

I had my girl on the 4th of may she's 3 days old and I'm already ready for another baby. Even after all the pain I went threw and all the complaining and labor pain I'm ready to hsve snother one nay sound dumb but as soon as I can try again. This lady is ready to make another baby- anyone else?!

A few days ago I went to the hospital for bleeding and contractions. I was given porcardia abd steroids for babys lungs. The past couple days I feel so out of it, so sore everything feels fuzzy, I haven't been able to eat, I feel like I may be having contractions again but im not sure if its contractions or baby moving because I had a c section so things feel differently this time .

I was diagnosed with Hypermesis (HG) at 7 weeks so I could not keep down foods and liquids for 11 weeks; plus I was on bed rest 2 months; several hospitalizations, a home care nurse and an IV for 8 weeks! I am on meds and a 24 hour Zofran pump still to stop the vomiting and nausea. I've been diagnosed with chronic salviation so I spit all day (between 30-40 ounces daily). I started leaking from my left breast at 10 weeks. I'm tired all the time.

I thought someone would throw us one since I am pregnant with a girl and my boy will be 18 months old when she is born. We have all the big stuff, all I really wanted was clothes and new stuff for the nursery - bedding and decorations. We didn't get a shower, but my friends back home - just moved to DH's hometown 8 months ago - just sent me a surprise "baby shower in a box".

With fibromyalgia, I have symptoms of IBS, anyway and the pregnancy is definitely aggravating them (NOT that I am complaining...no sireebob...not this chicka...bring on the pregnancy symptoms!!!) So my boyfriends side of the family are really excited for my pregnancy. I'm only 10 weeks and they've already bought baby girl clothes . I'm not complaining about it, I love his family and the excitement but we don't know what we are having yet and I don't want them to jinx anything ... Gender wise or anything because I'm still early and anything can happen . Thoughts?

We are waiting as well. For all of the big stuff it is pretty easy to find gender neutral stuff and as for clothes I'm asking for gift cards for baby shower if people usually plan on buying clothes. :) The only reason I want to find out is because I found this crib set that I loved for a baby girl! Haha think I can live without it though!

t stay away from the simple carbs i have, now i can feed it to my son cause i have alot of mac and cheese, beef stew, rice, roman noodles stuff like that. I have hardly any money to buy food and for some reason the food banks give people stuff with alot of carbs Sorry I'm complaining cause we do have food in the house but it is all stuff that I should not eat but find my resistance to it not as strong as it was about a year ago.

I started getting stuff that could be for either gender a little after I found out I was pregnant lol. only because I was excited. but after I found out the sex it's like everytime I made a trip to the store I picked out something for her. and then got a lot more after I had my baby shower. now I'm 36 weeks and have everything I need.
