They say the clips are not dangerous but I would bet that if I went for a scan now you probably wouldnt see the clip in my pelvis anymore. I bet during the second operation that the doctor removed that clip because there was no more severe pain. I now only experience the minor pain from surgery. They try to act like it is nothing but believe me I know differently. Your husband has been going through this for 8 days - My poor husband had been going through this for two months.

My wife just had surgery to clip a berry aneurysm. She was complaining about humming in her brain that continued to worsen. Along with headaches a nausau for a period of about 4 months. She has diabetes and her family Dr. told her that it was just caused by her diabetes. The humming was the worst just before she developed the bleed in her brain. Could you tell me if the humming in her brain could have been a sign of the aneurysm developing.
I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!

15th which later diagnosed DCIS. The doctor inserted one clip in the area. On the lumpectomy surgery day, Oct. 24th, I had wire localization which targeted the clip using mammogram. The post surgery biopsy report found 3mm DCIS with all clear margins, and off course wire, but not a clip which should be in that location. Then, I was sent for post lumpectomy mammogram today, Nov. 24th before starting radiation therapy.
For your information,the standard of care is to place a tiny stainless steel or titanium clip on the spot where the tissue is sampled.The clip is important,because it serves as a landmark to identify the area that was biopsied on future mammograms. If there's ever a need for surgical removal of more tissue, then the surgeon can use the clip as a bull's-eye marker during surgery.
The clip will be automatically removed if the surgeon does an open excisional procedure on that area.
I have had breast cancer now for the 2nd time. In the other brest. They did a biopsy & placed a clip. Had surgury & removed the cancer but the mammogram showed the clip still there. Please tell me who manufactures these clips & why it was not removed during surgery.

They put the clip in me on monday of this week during the biopsy. They said it would mark the spot in case I needed more treatment. Well it turned out cancerous so now before my lumpectomy they are going to go in and take the clip out and put in a wire. I don't get the logic. That's one of my questions I'm asking the surgeon at my appt. today. I'll let you know what he says.
So since I found out I was pregnant I've been looking on craigslist and eBay to help me find used baby things to buy for the baby, we're on a budget but I want to be able to get my baby what he needs without depending on other people and ever since I started doing that my bf has been complaining.
