For those of you, like myself who have been going thru trial and tribulation, and those of us with no support... let any man who is without sin, cast the first stone... can't remember what chapter or verse in the Bible but in 1 Corinthians 31;11 it says "if we would judge ourselves, we would not come onto judgement. Just something to think about... don't know why but the book chapter and verse came to mind and I had to look it up and share with everyone!

I believe truth is revealed to you as you are ready to hear and understand it. I pray for greater understanding. We can all read the bible but through God, we are able to get the true meaning intended as He wills us to. I agree that we can be proud of who we are in God's kingdom but if we start to place ourselves over others that are also on a journey, it may not be what God wants. By this I do not mean to not share what we have learned.

I love Les Miserables. It is super long (1100 pages), but so worth the read. Just thinking about it now makes me want to go pick it up again. BTW I LOVE the musical too.... A close second would have to be East of Eden by John Steinbeck...

I had the same thing happen to me, we just got a new nightstand from an antique store and there was a Bible in it, I had constant nightmares, got rid of the Bible and had peaceful sleep since. I thought it's because my fiance and I are atheists and have no intention on introducing religion to our child until she's older. I had dreams about people being murdered, genocide, rape... strange how that's all in the Bible.

The concept that once you’re saved you cannot be lost is very unbiblical. I can cite you several examples in the Bible of people who had a saved relationship—they were spirit-filled—and for whatever reason they turned from the Lord, they backslid. King Saul was chosen by the Lord, anointed, filled with the Spirit, but he became proud and grieved away the Holy Spirit and took his own life.

People there is only 1 thing that will help you and I promise this is the best remedy!! Call upon the Lord and read your Bible. I have tried everything and lately I have been spending a lot of time in the Word of God! Try reading The Psalms. 103, 34, etc. David suffered anxiety worse that any of us. Please try the Lord and I promise He won’t let you down. It won’t be a miraculous healing right away but give Him time and he will get you through it.

Regardless of prayers for forgiveness or trucks with Bible verses on them, your risk in the first place was zero. You do not have HIV and do not need a test.

I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!

But my 5 year old son about a month ago started complaining that he coulnt see well! over the past 2 weeks he has been having very bad headaches to the piont where he will lay down and go to sleep in mid day! and this is so not him... WE are going to have his eyes re checked before i approach his dr with the question but does any one know of two sibilings with chiari malformation.???

We need to get down on our knees and ask Him back into our activities, our lives. We need to seek His will in all that we do. The bible must be read and read again. He should be the first One we turn to in times of all trouble and yes, even happiness, for after all, He likes to know that we like and appreciate what He gives us. We all want want want, we never thank Him for what we have. I am guilty of that myself at times.

Emmaa93, all mom's go through nightmares during pregnancy but everyone find solutions to it differently to ease their fears. A Christian person would pray & read bible verses. Some people migh do meditation, lights on, write down their nightmares, etc. The previous mom to be simply asked what she should do & since she is muslim, assuming she is because she asked other muslim moms.

So that could have skewed your outlook on the bible. They have their own bible as you know and its not accurate..Their way of viewing salvation is "works," thats why they feel they "have to" witness. I witness but IF I never did witness to people that would not affect my salvation. I will get into the submission thing later or tomorrow or maybe sooner, I just don't feel like typing though I am stuck in the house as we are have snow right now..

Me and my husband read bible verses together and pray and i feel so much better afterwards. So thankful to have a husband thats loving and caring to my emotions while im going through these hormonal changes.

I would not put to much stock into the number 23, remember the numbering of the chapters and verses of the Bible was done by man, not God (I am not saying the Bible isn't inspired because it is, just that the numbering was added to assit in reading and studying). I too have a strong faith in Jesus and have had thoughts of death, but know it is just from my anxiety and depression.
