541196 tn?1293552936 She ordered lots of blood work and a thyroid sonogram. The blood work came back indicating I needed to have a MRI of pituitary gland with and without contrast, but she wanted me to check with insurance on it first. My insurance only covers it if the $2000 deductible has been met first!!!! So, I have to pay out of pocket pricing which will likely be better than help from insurance knocking the price down for them being "in network".
Avatar n tn I've been dilated at a 6 since last Monday and baby is at station +1. Docs said they thought I would be back within 2 days to deliver because she is so low, and because I'm dilated so far. I wish she would come already! I had to stop working because they thought I wouldn't make it to the hospital in time to deliver...but LO is staying put. I'm burning up all my sick time and I feel just fine...it sounds crazy, but I wish I could go back to work until she arrives...
Avatar f tn ( where im at i seen on the news that by friday it should be like 88 intead of 100 something... wonder how long that will last!
Avatar f tn I feel exactly the same way you do.. I'm 37+2. I don't want to do anything but lay in bed. All the pains are horrible. I couldn't walk the other day due to back pain. I want her out but then I think the longer she's in there the healthier shell be. I have a 4 yr old son and I'm at a pizza arcade place right now but ugh I have no energy. LOL. Not to much longer.
1216899 tn?1288570325 s going on, I have no idea. That being said, whew, I believe I have over done it. Work is very demanding, after about a year and of half of a very bad slow down, and out of no where I am working like crazy lately. This heat, the stress (both physical and mental), the long hours, I think have taken it's toll. I have really been pushing my body to the extreme limits, dealing with extreme fatigue, I mean like I have never known before. Yet I push on.
427279 tn?1210919821 My legs were numb and my back was killing me, so I decided that it would be easier to sit on the floor in front of the machines to load the washer. Everything went pretty good until it came time for me to get up. I could not. My legs did not want to work with me. After getting mad. I thought about my baby on my bed and I knew that I had to get up. I could not leave him there until someone came home 4 hours later. I thought of the show Lassie and began hollering for my dog Diamond.
Avatar f tn I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!
Avatar f tn I'm 32 weeks and I work at landfill, my boss is complaining I'm lazy because I don't have the get up and as I did before. Its really starting to make me mad because he'll just sit in office and complain about all the work he has to do. I'd like to think that hes just sad guy who life is bad, but at same time he's a daddy and I'm sure if someone where to treat his wife this way there would be a problem.
Avatar f tn So me and my baby's father had an argument because i didn't go to work last night. He said that i should've went because i have a baby on the way which idk why he's worried about the baby now because he hasn't been too excited about her anyway. And i feel like i should've went after i called off i regretted it because i do have a baby on the way. But I'm 7 months in and last night my body was sooo tired. I don't miss work too many times. I go to work everyday.
320078 tn?1278344720 The type of place you work at does not like that kind of publicity trust me. Where I work (similar to your job) they go out of their way to avoid that kind of stuff. People here fail drug tests and they "rehabilitate them" but they do not lose your job. They will help you. Good luck buddy and keep us posted.
Avatar m tn ve been dealing with consistent back pain, rib pain, being tired all the time but at night not being able to sleep, and baby on my bladder also! Hopefully he's comfy! lol I'm 26 days away from my due date, so it will be over somewhat soon :) you didn't say how far along you are, but hopefully you're close also! It seems like it will be the only thing to make the discomfort go away! Good luck!
8255052 tn?1399861806 Girl I feel your pain! I feel the EXACT same way! I'm so sad about this weight gain I'm only 5.5 months and the weight I'm at now I was full term with my other 2 pregnancies I feel disgusting!
Avatar f tn So since I found out I was pregnant I've been looking on craigslist and eBay to help me find used baby things to buy for the baby, we're on a budget but I want to be able to get my baby what he needs without depending on other people and ever since I started doing that my bf has been complaining.
Avatar n tn At no time were you at risk even if it were wet. HIV is not transmitted via environmental surfaces.
7670156 tn?1401987192 A guy at work hit on me today saying my pregnant belly made me hotter... it kinda made me uncomfortable and I don't know what to do.
Avatar n tn I'm a cashier and so this lady brought up her reusable bag full of things to my register, I had to pull every item out of the bag scan it and bag it all over again..about 2hrs later she comes back with 2 bags of pretzels some are broken, and says "I'm exchanging these because earlier when you bagged them you broke them" I said OK it's fine you may...
Avatar m tn I recently got blood work done. I had been complaining of fatigue, brain fog, and most notably, hair thinning and shedding. Free T4: 1.16 (ng/dl) T 3 Total: 1.25 (ng/dl) TSH: 4.92(miu/ml) Free testosterone: 13.5(pg/ml) Testosterone Total : 283(ng/dl) range (249-836) My doctor noted mildly elevated levels of TSH and so prescribed synthroid 25mcg daily and to recheck levels in 3 months.
Avatar f tn I guess I just need to complain for a moment. Over the past week I've had terrible fatigue. My legs are heavy and my left one is weaker than usual. My brain won't work -- I can't even read the newspaper (I keep stopping half-way through the articles). My words keep getting reversed (the kids think it's funny) and I just can't *focus*. I know a lot of these things can be directly attributed to the fatigue, but I can't seem to get rid of the fatigue.
Avatar f tn a and the symptoms went away. About a year ago she started complaining with stomach pain. We had tons of tests done and the only thing I was told was she had reflux. Well, the medicines did nothing. I started her on probiotics and about 6 weeks later she stopped complaining. I took her off the probiotics 6-8 weeks after they started working. She was fine for 4 months. Now the stomach pain is back with a vengeance leaving her nauseous and feeling weak.
Avatar f tn Am I the only one having problems with my SO about my low sex drive and emotions? In the beginning of my first trimester my sex drive was outrageously high. But now at 23week's just the thought of sex makes me cringe and it's causing problems with my boyfriend. He's constantly asking if I'm cheating and accuses me of not loving him anymore.
Avatar n tn I haven't worked since October, and I'm self employed. I probably won't be going to work for a few more months at least. Maybe another year. I fret about losing my health insurance, but at least I have a little more control over that than you do. I filed for SS Permanent disability in October, and I'll probably get it. :( Your situation is not that extreme, but yes, people can miss a lot of work over Thyroid issues.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with Hypermesis (HG) at 7 weeks so I could not keep down foods and liquids for 11 weeks; plus I was on bed rest 2 months; several hospitalizations, a home care nurse and an IV for 8 weeks! I am on meds and a 24 hour Zofran pump still to stop the vomiting and nausea. I've been diagnosed with chronic salviation so I spit all day (between 30-40 ounces daily). I started leaking from my left breast at 10 weeks. I'm tired all the time.
