Avatar f tn Is there a reason why more people will not do the colon hydrotherapy detox? Wouldn't this make more people healthier?
Avatar m tn I also had a few lymphathic drainage massages, and a colon hydrotherapy done which took away the swollen nodes under my arms, and reduced the swelling of the ones on my neck area. Before I went for the massages and the colon hydrotherapy, I experienced chronic fatigue, and after I did these procedures, my fatigue went away, and I have more energy now. The colon cleanse showed I had pin worms.
Avatar f tn Has anyone tried colon hydrotherapy ? I’ve done 3 treatments back to back already and it has decreased the symptoms but I don’t think it’s permanent. I started the treatment 3 days ago. It’s a machine that cleans out your colon for 45 min. It’s a good way to detox. I noticed after the first treatment I had less cravings for sugar. I pretty much forgot to eat for a whole day after the first treatment bc for some reason I didn’t feel hungry (I don’t recommend not eating).
Avatar m tn About a week ago I posted a question about colon hydrotherapy but I received no response. I had this treatment done and since then I have gone more than usual. I am scheduled for another treatment but I would like to know if this is accepted by the medical field as a safe and effective method of colon cleansing. Or some comments from others who have been through this before. Please respond.
473493 tn?1236836912 I also followed up with doing colon hydrotherapy to cleanse my system so that I could go to the bathroom regularly. After the session, I lost a whopping 7lbs! Now this is not typical, I just had a lot of gunk in my colon that needed to come out. I also used a natural appetite suppressant that helped curb my appetite. It worked wonders for me and it could help with your problem as well.
Avatar n tn It appears that cancer that started in the colon has probably punched through the colon wall and spread to the liver. Calcification on the liver generally indicates calcium has formed in areas affected by past infection or injury, typically to protect the area from further damage. A malignant tumor with liver calcification may require advanced or invasive treatment. Surgery to remove a mass or radiation therapy may be an option for calcification on the liver caused by a malignant tumor.
Avatar f tn I would go on a parasite cleanse. Parasites tend to cause G.I. spasms, especially when something is consumed that can potentially harm them. Easiest way to do this is go on a juice cleanse for a few days, buy some black walnut wormwood liquid and drink that, eat some pumpkin seeds, and consume some food grade diatomaceous earth which would kill the parasites.
Avatar m tn if your intestines and bowels are still weak, i recommend colon hydrotherapy. it helps. if you know of anyone with a bi-resonnance machin it helps. this is sent from a person who was terribly sick and has started coming back to life. take care buddy.
11548417 tn?1506080564 My sister was diagnosed with colon cancer with small metastasis on liver. The colon cancer is surgically removed and the plan was to remove the liver metastasis also surgically. No further treatment would be necessary. To be sure that no other metastases were overseen, a PET scan was done. Besides the liver metastasis, some activity was seen in the breast area. Biopsy revealed breast cancer with a positive lymph node in the armpit.
Avatar n tn please see a urogynecologist...you most likely have pelvic organ prolapse! I developed this after my hysterectomy and also look into pelvic floor dysfunction...I understand your misery as I have been living since 2005...went from laxatives, to mag citrate to enemas to colon hydrotherapy...dr's saying I was addicted to the above methods...after a 6.5 hour surgery correcting my anatomy I went from the above methods to going 4-8 times a day...
Avatar f tn After doing the program for a week, I also had colon hydrotherapy to pull everything out of my colon that was undigested. It was so much stuff that came out..now I go to the bathroom daily and have continued to lose the weight. Maybe you should try this method.
1266021 tn?1270134892 Eight years ago my sister was diagnosed with liver cancer.which had metastisized from the colon. She underwent surgery and the diseased portion of the liver was removed. No cancer was found in the colon. Even though chemotherapy has proved ineffective for liver cancer thay started her on it. After two sessions she refused further treatment, feeling that that it was killing her. So she went the alternative route.
Avatar n tn I had stopped taking my Lactulose prescription - it keeps the colon cleaned out and the drug Xifaxan gets rid of the bacteria that originates in the colon and causes the ammonia buildup. Brain fog from the ammonia can cause you to do all sorts of things and not know what you're doing. If she gets on the medications your daughter won't have this problem. God Bless. I hope 2012 will be a better year for all of us.
Avatar n tn my husband is blind, diabetic, double amputee, high blood pressure, incontinent, mostly wheel chair bound, thanks to agent orange if you remember the Viet Nam War he went to his doctor and he ordered a CT Scan and Xray -of his belly and chest - well it came back with him having a apple core size lesion in his colon that has went to his liver which has lesions on it - plus it showed he had a slightley enlarged heart with water build up some on it - he doesnt realize how short of breath he gets after
Avatar n tn I don't even know how to select best answer. I wouldn't worry about it -- nobody pays attention to it anyway. As to your question, you've already done what I would consider an unsafe colon cleanse, and I don't know why you did it. I tried to make that clear.
Avatar f tn This is going to be late for you, but you should never take liver cleansers while taking medication. What you're describing is a combination colon/liver cleanse. Milk thistle and yellowdock, for example, are liver cleansers, and could theoretically wash some of the medication out of our system, as the body sees virtually all medication as toxic.
Avatar n tn Long segment mucosal thickening of the transverse colon. Correlation for inflammatory or neoplastic changes of the transverse colon is recommended. 2. Mesenteric adenopathy. 3. Left hepatic lobe and anterior segment right hepatic lobe lesions most compatible with hemangiomas. The two smallest lesions may also represent cysts. 4. Right hepatic lobe posterior segment mass with early arterial enhancement and rapid washout.
Avatar n tn Hi I am a 46 years old male, I am healthy, I never smoked, I drink moderately. I have recently had a wide local excision and a sentinel nodes biopsy. I had a 2.5mm black spot on my back that was removed. the result was no problem with the skin on the back (2cm per side were taken) and 2 out of the 3 lymphnodes were ok while one had something (not sure how much). Then went for CT SCAN and I had a surgery scheduled to remove some more lymphnodes (chest area).
Avatar m tn A related discussion, i would like to no more was started.
Avatar m tn I am a 42 year old male about 50lbs over weight and I have been working with my doctor since 2/09 to address Accelerated High Blood Pressure. I continued to have symptoms of Accelerated High Blood Pressure after being prescribed an aggressive medication regiment. I was then referred to a Internal Medicine Doctor who changed/reduced the proscribed medications. During a office visit we discussed abdominal discomfort I had been having.
Avatar f tn Get your husband some Miralax to soften his stools so they are easier to pass. You may have to play around with the dosage a bit but that's okay. You can also go to your pharmacy and ask them what they would recommend. Miralax works very well and I feel it will give him some relief and he may want to keep using it to maintain easy bowel movements. I'm so sorry for the bad news you received, my thoughts and prayers are with both of you.
634567 tn?1222655959 Well my stomach is still swollen went to the ER and they say it is my liver not my colon that fluid has leaked into my abdominal cavity and that is causing all the pressure and the extended stomach but the ER say they cant do anything about it unless it is life threating and I need to go back to see a specialist, well why didnt the doctor say that when i saw him? I dont have insurance and have been paying out of pocket. Does anyone know anything about this?
Avatar f tn The only thing atypical with what you wrote down is the absence of liver disease. Most cases of colon cancer have spread to the liver before there is any involvement of the lung. Of course the alternative scenario is that there is a separate lung cancer. However, the description sounds more like a metastatic pattern rather than a primary lung cancer.
425312 tn?1279966179 my sister got a system cleanse to clean the colon and detoxify the liver will that be too much on me?
