just a question, I was at GNC today and saw a product for colon or gastro cleansing. Has anyone used these, does it work and is it healty?

If colon cleansing was beneficial, why wouldn’t our doctors order them?

What is the practice ragrding enema in the US hospitals? Do women get enema in the hospital before labor or is it suggested to do it at home before heading to the hospital?

I am considering a cleansing diet. In the past, I used to scoff at cleansing diets because I figured evolution designed humans to have all these magnificent organs to sufficiently detoxify the body (kidneys, digestive system, liver, etc.) --not to mention a bounty of foods that maximize these organs' detox processes.

& last time I checked on the baby was 6 weeks, I got denied by a hospital due to high bills, so what do I do now?

t take over night to get myself in this position, all though it sometimes feels like it happened over night. just want to feel normal what ever that is. wondering about colon cleansing. i have some colon cleansing formula. wondering if i should wait to take them or what. i just feel like invasion of the body snatchers. i want my body back. i let those damn pills rob my body of sooooooooooo much. feeling a bit like a failure. im sure that will pass.

This is going to be late for you, but you should never take liver cleansers while taking medication. What you're describing is a combination colon/liver cleanse. Milk thistle and yellowdock, for example, are liver cleansers, and could theoretically wash some of the medication out of our system, as the body sees virtually all medication as toxic.

I was an eye-opening documentary about how so many people are overdosing and getting arrested for purchasing Oxy's from pain clinics in Florida and reselling them where they live. It was scary to hear the statistic that almost 90% of all Oxy's prescribed are coming from pain clinics in Florida that just prescribe pain pills, zanex, valium, and other hard to get drugs.

I think it depends on the type of enema. Using enemas frequently for constipation can cause your rectum to "forget" how to have a bowel movement naturally. Using enemas for "colon cleansing", I believe is not good, because your colon doesn't need any cleansing, it does this itself.

None of them has helped the symptoms except maybe the colon that stuck out seems to do that less now. I tried doing enemas, mild colon cleansing herbs, prune juice, psyllium husk powder with lots of water, and aloe vera juice. Any more suggestions?

i have recently found answers to mucous and tissue in stool. in early stages it was dark mucous. after a lot of cleansing it turned into clear tissue. i still have the clear wrapped in stool in lower intestines, generally comes out with the vinegar enemas. but with the para cleanse have gotten rid of 'tapeworms'. they are clear and generally not noticeable other than the clear tissue in toilet.

Well it has been quite awhile ago ,but here it is ,i had them put on in1984 and in 1992 ,i was feeling sick a lot and lots of abdominal pain ,i went to free clinics since i was a self employed barber w/out ins.when i went i always filled out paper work saying i had the hukla clams ,but they never talked or checked or no concern regarding them,so i just figured they new what they were doing ,and i was checked and diagnosed w/other things and put on antibiotics .
