just a question, I was at GNC today and saw a product for colon or gastro cleansing. Has anyone used these, does it work and is it healty?

I was born in Florida in 1987 then in 1996 my mom married my dad and we moved to Fayeteville, NC with him and then in 1999 we moved to Yorktown, VA and then in 2001 we moved to Mannheim, Germany and then in 2003 we moved to Wiesbaden, Germany then in 2005 we moved back to Mannheim, Germany. In 2006 I came back to Florida to go to college and then November of 2007 I moved here to Los Angeles, CA. My parents are still in Germany though living in Munster, Germany. Gosh...

I would make an appointment with a good naturopath and they will lead you in the right direction. Colon cleansing is great, but it needs to be done correctly and most MD's just don't understand the procedure, etc.

Does anyone know of a knowledgeable doctor near the Richmond, VA area that knows how to treat the autoimmune part of Hashimoto. I've been to several doctors in the Williamsburg area that only treat the thyroid after the damage has been done.

I am a 34 yr. Old female I live in Petersburg, Va. and I work construction so I move around a-lot. I have add and I have been on Vyvanse. My Dr. Is in PA and I cannot continue to travel 500 miles to get my script. Can anyone recommend a physican around the Richmond area that will give me Vyvanse without a bunch of hassle?

This is going to be late for you, but you should never take liver cleansers while taking medication. What you're describing is a combination colon/liver cleanse. Milk thistle and yellowdock, for example, are liver cleansers, and could theoretically wash some of the medication out of our system, as the body sees virtually all medication as toxic.

Jerry, thank you for your information! Last week my wife and I saw my cardiologist. Can't say he gives me real confidence considering he must weigh about 300 lbs. and this time I noticed he had an eye that was either failing -- or possibly infected. He's probably around 55 years old. The Medtronic tech, who has had afib for 20 years gave me much more confidence. The answer you gave me echos what the doc said.

So, I had to call the local social service and the lady was so nice... I got all the info faxed to me and filled out and then I submitted the information to them...It was the easiest thing I ever did...AND they gave me the paper I needed to fax to the doctors office. Why do agencies that are in the capital of the state so much harder to deal with....why do they use people who I can't understand and why can't THEY fax information if the local ones can... Can you post your ranges? are you near richmond va? I friend of mine is being treated by someone in richmond that seems to be taking very good care of him. I am not familiar with the cities there so not sure it if you are close by. Whenever you post your labs, its always important to post the lab ranges as well. Different testing facilities uses different ranges.
