I'm 40, fairly thin, and drink 5 or 6(or more) drinks a night, usually wine but there have been many nights where wine has turned to whiskey, etc. I have taken days off of drinking, but not more than 1 or 2 in a row. I'm quitting cold turkey, but I haven't slept more than 3 hours a night and when I wake up I am drenched with sweat, and I have terrific anxiety. I can barely function!
