Just wondering where in NC you were bitten. I'm from MI but I spent last summer in NC near Charlotte. I believe I may have been bitten sometime while I was down there too but I never got a rash or saw a tick. I was just diag with Lymes two weeks ago and started treatment.
my husband is a US marine we are in jacksonville Nc. He fell over during the new Pysically training they have to do and couldnt get back up he had chest pain couldnt catch his breath and his heart felt like it was beating out of his chest along with sharp pains in his head. They ignored his request for help for early 4 minutes until someone saw he really needed help called 911 and was taken to Camp Lejuene Naval hospital. They did 3 EKG scans all of which came back abnormal.
Where is everyone from? I am from Jacksonville, Fl! It's amazing how we get to conversate with mommies all over the world.
The nearest large city is Jacksonville, FL. We have an appointment August 3rd with the Mayo Clinic- but that is so far away! Are there any other neurosurgeons that you recommend in the Jacksonville area? Thanks!

Give me a little more info, how long were you on the norcos, how long have you been on the methadone, when did you start to taper, do you want to go cold turkey or taper. My big issue is with the fact that the doctor did not find any stones in my gallbladder following the removal however, the sona-scan I had done prior to the removal showed I had at least one stone. Where did the stone go?????????? Every evening now, I feel like I am playing Russian roulette with the meal I “carefully” choose to eat.

If she stopped 5 wks prior then no the baby will have already gone thru the withdrawl in the belly. However, stopping cold turkey like that when prego is not good at all!!!!!! Who knows what kind of damage the withdrawl in the belly did to the baby. No doctor in his right mind would ever let a prego woman get off anything cold turkey, it is way tooooo much stress on the baby. She needs to let the doctor know what is going on right away!!!
