Hi there, I would really love the name Esme if we have a little girl, my partner on the other hand likes it but thinks it refers to the twilight books/films too much. I'm not too bothard as Esme was only a small character and not one of the main ones, I just dislike the idea of people questioning me about this. I really don't want to be put off from using this name just because of others.
So we are thinking about naming our baby Esmee Jade. While surfing the web I figured out there is a character Esme in Twilight. I never watched or read twilght so I wouldn't know. Does the name ring too much of a bell for Twighlight? We really like the name, but I don't want everyone to think of Twilight every time someone sees or meets our baby. yea the movies leave out alot and put things out of order i read the harry potter books before i saw the movies and i really think they could have done better on the movies .

No, it wasn't me that said some hospitals give unsedated colonoscopies... could have been a thread I was involved in, tho. Hon, I fully understand your need to not be sedated, I know lots of people that just hate it. There are two kinds of sedation: Twilight (used for colonoscopy) and full anesthesia (for operations). I've had both. Twilight for colonoscopies is dreamy and pleasant for nearly all people (naturally there are exceptions).

ve mentioned it to hates the name saying that im naming her after the Twilight movies character. Granted i do love the movies but that is not the case. I wanted her to have a special name in honor of two women i love. What do you ladies think?
